Why doesn't your list include party affiliation and district?

How are they "returning" Abrmaoff donations?

How do we ensure that they have?

And why do they get credit for regifting dirty money to their favorite charity? Shouldn't it instead go to pay down the public debt (and the cost of the investigation??)

Maybe if they all crawl back under the rocks the came out from noone will notice them. At least that is what they are hoping for.

Is it my imagination or does power corrupt Republicans completely?

The future gets brighter everyday!

Why list party afiliation when they're all (R)'s?
By the way, of the $100K donated to Bush/Cheney in 2004, Bush is returning $6,000. Gee, how frigging generous of him.

why hasn't Patrick Kennedy (D, RI) who received the second highest amount ($131,000+-), probably for the Democratic congressional campaign Comittee returned any of that money?

Russ, Not all are R's. Senators Baucus and Dorgan are Democrats. I don't know whether they took money or not, I am just going by the list posted on this list.

we the people had better start doing something about this whole goverment, we the people are no longer in charge. the republicans are crooks and the people who voted for these crooks live with it!!

You can add Sen. Allen (R-VA) as he decieded to give his away. What's a G here or there anyway!

Once again tribes get short end of the stick. Tribal dollars donated through lobbyists like Jackoff Abraham to promote their causes now being returned to charity. During homestead acts of late 1800's and early 1900's tribal homelands were lost, government solution to settle with $$$ but kept tribal homelands and all the resources on these lands (Oil in Oklahoma, coal and oil reserves in unceded territory of the Great Sioux Reservation [Powder River basin of Wyoming, etc., see Fort Laramie treaties of 1851 & 1868]to name a couple cases. It seems like all over the world aboriginal homelands suffer the same fate at the expense of first people in the name of governments, organization, institutions totally driven by bottom line profits made in the process.
