A Triple-M Candidate?

This may not exactly be the message Gov. Mitt Romney (R) wants to broadcast to the salt-of-the-earth folk in Sioux City or Spartanburg, but he served it up while chatting with a conservative-leaning writer in Arkansas last week.

In Little Rock to raise money for the AR GOP and ex-Rep. Asa Hutchinson's (R) GOV bid, Romney told Arkansas Democrat-Gazette columnist Kane Webb why he never had a shot running for the Senate in '94.

“I’d lose to Kennedy again today,” he says. “I’m a white male Mormon millionaire ! Come on !”
