Rove Calls Lieberman?
That's what ABC's George Stephanopoulos reports.
According to a close Lieberman adviser, the President's political guru, Karl Rove, has reached out to the Lieberman camp with a message straight from the Oval Office: "The boss wants to help. Whatever we can do, we will do."
We haven't been able to get independent confirmation of this just yet.

Karl Rove wants to use Lieberman to hurt the three Democratic challengers in Connecticut.
I hope every elected Democrat severs ties with Lieberman. He is clearly intent on hurting the Democratic Party.
Well, it figures. Expect some Republican money to flow into the coffers for Lieberman's independent run. The hope is to split the Dem vote.

Joe is not a bad guy, just a moderate Republican. He's been in the closet long enough. He should out himself completely and run on the Republican ticket and put away this Independent silliness. The President could then campaign for him. Joe the truth will set you free.

Regardless of whether you can believe Gergen's denial that Rove offered to help, it still raises questions as to why that son-of-a-Nazi would be calling the Lieberman campaign in the first place. What gives there? Notice that Gergen doesn't offer any explanation as to the purpose of Rove's call, and evidently the ABC reporter didn't bother to ask.

This is evidence that the internet is a very effective form of disseminating information. People are realizing that the Main Stream Media (MSM)has been terribly irresponsible in reporting information necessary for a true democracy to stay atune with reality and now relies on the world wide web.
The look on the MSM reporters faces when the final results were posted was priceless! The fear in their faces as they realize the nation now knows they have been complicit in the rise of the neo cons ascention to power. That they have been unable to derail the peace movement must raise the hair on the necks on the corporate boards of these oligarchs.
This blogger can forsee more legislation soon to control the flow of information over the internet. It must not be allowed to happen. You must be more diligent now than ever before in saving the last source of unfettered information available to the public!

I used to be a proud Democrat until 11.pm last night. Now I am glad to say that my party has been hijacked by the kooky left wing, whakos. I am with Senator Lieberman all the way, the only decent and thoughtful Democrat in the party right now. Senator Keep going you will be getting both moral support and cash from me shortly. Hell with the democratic party.
Our problem at this moment is bigger than Republicans wooing Joe Lieberman.
It's the Democratic party (the DLC) getting behind a shadow campaign for Lieberman, against the primary winner Ned Lamont. . . . .
Joe is a scumbag that needs to be purged from the Democratic party! Truly amazing.
I tried to warn Mr. Libberman awhile back that he would be having some sleepless nights.
I guess he just did not believe me, and all he had to do was be a good democrat and that was just to big of a challenge for him.
I am really sorry to see this happen to him but we need to start really holding our elected officials accountable for the hell they are leading us into and this is a good start.
We will not be like many of them that continue to slap each other on the ass every time they screw up.
We are trying to look out for our children and seniors who are really suffering and they are the cause of it.
