Pawlenty Of Room On The Short List

One of the more intriguing subplots of the Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) signing by John McCain>'s campaign is the fact that there are very few Republicans out there who fit better with McCain as a potential running mate than Pawlenty. He checks a TON of boxes. Pawlenty's young, he's a non-Washingtonian, he's a favorite of the DC movement conservative crowd and he's one of the few GOP survivors of '06, in a blueish-purple state.
