Alex Castellanos's Cheap Shot
At the end of the Boston Globe article about an internal Mitt Romney strategy memo written by strategist Alex Castellanos.
Like every Republican in the race, Romney faces the delicate task of how to talk about President Bush, whom the country gives low job-approval ratings . But the plan lists two ways Romney can set himself apart from Bush. The first says, simply, "Intelligence."
Castellanos, of course, is a veteran of both Bush campaigns and has remained an informal adviser to the White House.
So Romney isn't such a bird brain then?
So a flip-flopper Mitt calls a stuborn Bush "dumb".
Is Mitt trying to claim that he is smarter than Bush because he flip-flopped on abortion, gay rights, stem cell research?

Also in his gubernatorial run, "I don't accept either label, pro-choice, or pro-life."
""I will not change any provisions in Massachusetts' pro-choice laws".[5]"
"Romney vetoed an emergency contraception bill in July 2005, claiming that allowing it to pass into law would violate his "moratorium" on changes to the abortion laws.[11]."
He kept his word.
