USA Today/Gallup: Watch Out Old Divorcees

When asked in a USA Today/Gallup poll how religion, race, and sex might influence one's '08 presidential pick, more than 90% of respondents said they would vote for a Catholic, Black, or Jewish candidate -- as long as that candidate was "well qualified" and someone their party had nominated. Yet sex, marriage, and religion proved more sensitive subjects. Asked about Jimmy Carter's new book, respondents who read it were asked whether they their impression was favorable or unfavorable -- as well as how they considered Carter as a president. The results are below:
Conducted 2/9-11; surveyed 1006 adults; margin of error
+/- 3% (release, 2/16).

I still can't believe that the only minority that less than half of America would vote for is atheists. I'm not an atheist but I don't get why there's such a wide disapproval of them. They're just people that don't believe in the supernatural. Like Christians, most of them are good people. There's no negative correlation between morality and atheism.

These statistics are so sad.

Being an atheist is the same as being a communist.

The aithiest figure disturbs me. Greatly. Why and how are people so predjudice against atheists? What did they ever do? Not believe the same thing as you. That's it.

Jimmy Carter was the worst Commander and
Chief to serve since the Hoover erra. The Spruall
Bluff Project is just one of his manny downfalls.
He used the project to get the voters support
and when in office he shot down the project.
