My impression from reading Hotline over the past few months is that the organization has a bias against Mitt Romney. I am Mormon but do not think my impression is based on over-defensiveness on behalf of Romney. Yes, Romney has made his mistakes and had his gaffes, but it appears to me that Hotline focuses on his weaknesses more than on those of other candidates. I recognize that I could be wrong or that the Hotline folks may feel they have justfication for this bias. I think they do great work and always enjoy reading their columns but think it may be healthy for them to stop and reflect on whether they are being fair to Mr. Romney.
