McCain Urges His List To Watch His Iraq Speech

Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 11, I will be giving a major address at the Virginia Military Institute on the war in Iraq, the consequences of failure, and the reasons for very cautious optimism. The speech will be broadcast live on my website, , at 11:30 a.m. EDT tomorrow. Please join me for this speech and encourage others to do so as well. Having recently returned from Iraq, I was encouraged by the signs of progress I saw on the ground being made there under the leadership of General Petraeus. The ongoing war in Iraq and the broader fight against terrorism is the preeminent issue of our time. So delusional McCain wants everyone to watch him tell more lies (or "mis-speaks" as he says).

Why is everyone trashing McCain on Iraq for his supposed "lies"? He is the only one trying to give his full opinion on Iraq, whereas everyone else is using poll-tested one liners. Give him some credit for having the guts to let it rip on Iraq. After all, that will be the defining issue of '08.
