John McCain approached John Kerry to be his running mate.

Well, Kerry's got nothing to lose at this point, McCain has everything to lose, and The Hill brought the subject up. I'm siding with Kerry.
Well, considering everything that comes out of McCain's mouth these days is a lie ("Iraq is going WONDERFULLY!", I'd bank on Kerry.
Who freakin' cares? One guy is a washed up loser and the other guy lives in a fantasy land. I will leave it up to you to decide which John is which.
This is just a Democrat hit job on McCain. They know he would be the most formidable general election candidate. Romney's Mormonism, and Massachusetts background would be easier to defeat. Rudy's personal life is a made for TV soap opera, which creates quite a bit of low hanging fruit for oppo. They are afraid of McCain and trying to take him out in the Primary.
The story is that John Weaver approached Kerry about it. Weaver may have worked for McCain, but he's no Republican. Therefore Kerry's claim makes a lot more sense.
Kerry's. McCain doesn't even seem to remember what the truth is anymore.
Considering John McCain's evolution from straight talking maverick to Bush lovin' war hawk extraordinaire, I go with Kerry. He's been a hella lot more right lately than McCain.
Kerry's sounds more plausible. Trusting Mr. "Baghdad's streets are safe"? No.
Trusting Mr. "Christmas in Cambodia" is better? Someone who brings a camera to videotape himself in the middle of a war, recreating his "heroics" so he can watch himself later? How many vets of wars do you think would make fake videos of themselves to recreate a war scene? They just want to forget about it. That guy is just a fruit-loop.
