Honestly, I projected Hillary Clinton to be in the $30M to $40M range for the first quarter.
We were hearing words like "blowout".
$30 to $40m? Are you insane? Clinton never said that, her group never said that. This whole money thing has been driven by the media from the start. Clinton probably scared so many people into believing that if they double dipped they'd be sorry that fewer people ended up giving. Personally, I think this whole thing is disgusting. Choose the candidate on their merits, not on how much money they can raise. And is anyone not surprised to find that the only woman in the race is being told she didn't raise enough, even though she broke a record?
Definitely a lower than expected bounty by Hillary.

Hillary raised at least half of that money with Bill Clinton's connections. Without Bill, I don't think she could have raised even $15M.
james - she raised 40 million for her senate race and you don't think she could raise 15 million for a presidental race without Bill? Are you serious!!
