Bill Richardson's "Funny" New Ad
"Funny," as described by Richardson's campaign manager Dave Contarino, a serious man who we've never seen laugh, but.. whatever.
Actually, we agree. it's a creative way to introduce Mr. Richardson's undeniably substantial resume.

This is a great ad!
Unfortunately, Big Bill hasn't a prayer...
I'll give him credit for creativity, but I'm not sure humor really is the right tone for the message he's trying to get out.
It also makes you wonder why somebody who has been in government for so long and done so much is still such an unknown. Why didn't he run for president in 2004?
These ads look very similar to an ad run in Washington's 8th Congressional District by Congressman Dave Reichert http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFXfChUeNiQ.
Reichert's opponent had zero public or community service experience. She is a 35 year old project manager from Microsoft. Reichert has 33 years of law enforcement expeirence, 8 years as sheriff of king county, national sheriff of the year, swat commander, air force reserves, now congressman, etc.
Great ad. But was I the only one who thought the interviewer was doing a bad Josh Lyman imitation?
Very good ad.
good stuff.
Innovative? Cutting edge? A great ad? Maybe you should look at where this ad concept truly came from --namely, a popular Republican member of Congress.
Didn't Joe Biden get in trouble for this same kind of thing?
Check out the TV spot link below. It's been posted on YouTube -- for 6 months!

Anyone know who produced these ads?
Can't believe Jessica and Sean can't distinguish between Reichert's humorless attack on an opponent and Richardson's humorous self-promotion... unless, of course, they're Republicans.
What's with all the Reichert supporters in a twitter? That ad you're pointing to is an attack ad designed to highlight inexperience (it's also more than a little patronizing toward women). This ad is funnier, it's a positive spot, and it's designed to highlight experience. Dave Reichert has a monopoly on job interview settings in campaign ads? Next you'll tell me no one can make ads with puppies because Steele already did it.
