How New Jersey Might Save Rudy Millions
Yesterday afternoon, in a hotel conference room just off exit nine on the New Jersey Turnpike, the state Republican Party did presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani a huge favor: they agreed to consider an unprecedented rule revision that could, in effect, rig the New Jersey Republican primary, award Rudy Giuliani 52 delegates, save his campaign millions of dollars, and establish the state’s most conservative county chairman as an ingenious powerbroker.
Historically, New Jersey's Republican primary has allotted delegates proportionally, based on performance in the state's congressional districts. Since 1968, the primary has been held late in the cycle and has therefore ratified the choices of Republicans in early-voting caucuses and primaries.
Last year, bowing to pressure, New Jersey decided to move its 2008 primary to Feb. 5 in order to give its citizens more of a role. That was before most Republicans really believed that Giuliani would run.

I am from New Jersey and I can assure you that I do not support Rudy even a little bit. He's way to authoritarian for me. I don't want to live in a perpetual police state where people can be stopped and searched on the street at the subjective will of the cops just because I look suspicious to them. I don't want my wife or children to be searched at the will of the police either. Not in America. Not ever.
Rudy seems to have no respect for the Constitution, or the founding fathers or our liberties.
There is only one candidate who I would even consider and that is Ron Paul.
I would never vote for the candidates who the corrupt, scum media has predetermined for us to choose from.
Thay are all together ruining our great country. The media who works in consort with the leaders of the mainstream choices like Rudy and blacks out from our eyes and ears all the candidates who they don't want us to hear from. I cannot find the words that would be legal to write to describe how vile, and evil this whole process is.
A vote for Rudy is a vote for that. No way.
Ron Paul is a joke.
Why don't you Paul-bots go spam another site.
Fred!
I like 'Ron-bots' better.
