Murray For Clinton
Washington State Sen. Patty Murray endorsed Hillary Clinton today in a statement released by the campaign:
“Hillary and I both came to Washington together in 1993, and since that time she hasn't stopped working on the priorities that matter most to America's families,” Murray said. “Together we have partnered to pass strong port security legislation, stand up to an Administration that put ideology above science, and provide the care that our nation's veterans have earned. She understands the challenges that face us here in Washington state from security at our Northern Border to cleaning up Hanford. Hillary is ready to lead this nation from her first day in office and deliver the change we need.”
Washington's primary is Feb. 9.

that is U.S. Senator Patty Murray from Washington. she is not a State Senator. the first line of the article does not make that clear.
Well Patti -- you just lost my respect and my vote forever. I hoped you'd have more integrity than Maria. The Clintons have been race-baiting and for this lifelong democrat, that is a line I will not cross and will never forgive.
she's from washington state, not washington, dc -- i think that's what jennifer was clarifying ...
And like Hillary, Sen. Murray hasn't accomplished anything on Capitol Hill either.
Way to go donna L. If a public figure or a plain voter has a different opinion on Obama or decide to vote his or hers interest, which is what elections are all about, they lack integrity? A bit personal aren't we? So lets “lets joint and unite” , as long as it is your way right? How medieval!! So what are you going to do, since you are so emotionally invested with Obama, if Hillary wins the nomination, and Barack runs on the VP slot? That would be a decision made in his best interest. That I believe his best interest is also good for the country is incidental. I would like to see senator Clinton be the nominee, but if senator Obama best her in the primary nomination contest, I am more than prepare to support him, as I believe that any democrat would be a better president. I don’t think you are capable of doing that. For you this is personal. And any Clinton supporter offends your sensitivity. What a pity, coming from the “lets joint and unite” camp. The irony is so delicious!
Washington State's primary is February 19, not February 9. We have our caucuses on February 9, where 100% of our delegates in the Democratic race will be awarded.
dems are the 9th, gop is the 19th
Dear Patty-
I was one of the first to support your initial campaign in 1992 - at a backyard reception at a friend's house in Seattle. I recently wrote to you reminding you of my initial support, lauding your vote against the Iraq war, and honoring your voice over the years for "mom's in tennis shoes." I asked you to support Barack Obama - someone who also has been against the war from the start and who is working hard to give a voice to all Americans. I am extremely saddened that you didn't heed my advice. It's my firm belief that with Hillary as the nominee, we'll lose in November.
The truth is that Senator Clinton and her husband began to fabricate evidence against Obama, alienating many in the Democratic core constituency and leading to a collapse from twenty points ahead to almost thirty points behind in South Carolina (she also lost every ethnic group, gender and age division to either Obama or Edwards or both.)
She is left holding up her tattered experience, but unable to point to a single instance where her vaunted experience led to anything but blowing with the poll winds and conventional Washington (DC) miscalculations.
No, I'm not disappointed in Hillary supporters, but I will be disappointed if we manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of Victory in November by running the divisive Clinton duo against the unifying presence of John McCain on the other side.

When Obama starts getting the endorsements of prominent Republicans,Republican Senators and Republican members of the House, that is when I will start believing that he can be a uniter. Until that day I have to believe that he is running on pipe dreams and claiming to be able to do the impossible.
If Obama is really the uniter, make him prove it.
Hillary in 2008
Good for Senator Murray, and good for Senator Clinton. Obama is a cub scout, and I believe way over his head. I don't think he could handle the job of President, which is why I'm voting for someone with real time-tested strength... Hillary Rodham Clinton.

I think the Washington Senators' endorsements of Billary for Sen Clinton are pathetic- and I have voted for both of them and Bill twice. I called Senator Murray's office in DC to express my dissatisfaction today and I was told that "her endorsement was based more on a working relationship and friendship with Clinton" than anything else. So much for what is best for the USA and the world.
We really need Obama to prevail. He is about us. Billary is all about them, power, and ambition. Bush Clinton Bush Clinton- give me a break. Wake up America and vote for Obama.
Today while watching C-Span 2, I heard State Senator, Patty Murray discuss the Air Bus deal that the U.S Air Force has just made.
She disclosed some very important facts from the past, regarding other deals with Air Bus.
If she speaks with proven facts, then Air Bus does not deal in ethical or truthful ways.
They follow suit with the disgusting, blatant, and in your face fashion, that we are all so fed up with and see all the time lately.
Several corporations get away with unethical behavior because they are all united and connected, hence to powerful to stop.
I believe that the American Media should also be for the People for a change and give air time to share these facts with the People before they applaud this deal. We do not need to waste precious air time on Ajalina,Brad and the likes.
I just cannot believe that the people of America and moreover the Government of America would even consider giving this contract to Air Bus when we are all so concerned about jobs going oversea.
If there are hidden reasons for this deal, then we should expose them for what they are. Examine them to determine if the U.S. Air Force and Government are making this deal while keeping the best interest of America and its People in mind.
If not, then who's best interest?
Corporate?
They all seem to be united against the People of the United States and the World's People for their own selfish gains.
Maybe our Nation should change its name to 'United Corporate America!'
Shame on you!
Patty: Since your endorsement of Hillary Clinton in January, the ground has shifted considerably. Now, by proposing to change the rules at this late date, Hillary is risking her reputation and the Democrats' possibility of a win in November. If you would change your mind--or at least let Hillary know you are considering doing so-- you could potentially save our party from a dramatic implosion. I seriously believe that Hillary's attempt to impose a "new math" will lead to a destructive aftermath! Please help save your party's November chances!
