Michelle Obama Robocalling DC Voters

Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, is robocalling DC voters today, reminding them that the polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and providing them with a toll free number to call to find out where they can vote.

"With Barack, we can unite this country," she says, adding, "Our moment is now."

DC Mayor Adrian Fenty has also been robocalling Washington voters on Obama's behalf.

I wish to G-d we could rig the phones to explode on the other end when they do that.

I got a call, but, instead of being upset I was glad - it was probably the first and ONLY time I was ever glad to be robocalled. It was simply a message with the location of our local precinct's caucus - which I would rather have, as opposed to some phoney or hyped message about what an opponent is doing instead.

Those of us in the Uk, are enliveed to see the enthusiasm of African-Americans, in their support for Barack Obama. What a phenomenal sight.

We have noted that the Obama fever has reached all the way to us here in brixton, across London and the entire UK.

This man [Obama] seems to have a strong unifying effect that no other candidate comes close to having within the Democratic party. We, offer all our support from the UK, and heartedly wish that all the Black congresswomen and men of the party get behind him.

Those of us from the UK, are struck by his professionalism, cool demeanour and air of the debonaire. This man has style!
