Clinton: Wright "Would Not Have Been My Pastor"
Possibly rekindling a fiery national dialogue about race that seemed to knock her rival off his stride, Hillary Clinton said today that the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama's longtime spiritual leader, "would not have been my pastor."
"He would not have been my pastor," Clinton told editors of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "You don't choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend."
More: "You know, I spoke out against Don Imus (who was fired from his radio and television shows after making racially insensitive remarks), saying that hate speech was unacceptable in any setting, and I believe that," Clinton said. "I just think you have to speak out against that. You certainly have to do that, if not explicitly, then implicitly by getting up and moving."
Obama addressed his relationship with Wright, the now retired pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church, a week ago today in a much-praised speech about race in America. But there were some -- conservative critics, in particular -- who said Obama did not go far enough in distancing himself from the pastor. Obama did not condemn Wright nor did he explain his reasons for staying in a church led by a man who uttered, "God damn America" from the pulpit.
The episode helped Clinton gain some traction in national and PA polls, but coverage of Wright had subsided over the Easter weekend. Count on today's Clinton mention to prompt another cycle of Wright outrage on cable and talk radio ...

Transparent attempt to get Tuzla-gate off the front-pages. Despicable move that I hope the SDs see as the straw that breaks the camel back. Purely and simply despicable on any other level.
She is right.
Yes Obama is some change agent – he thinks he can change the ways of Washington but he couldn’t change the mind or rhetoric of his own crazy Reverend Wright.
Then the fact that he lied about it – said he had never heard the remarks. Yet he disinvited Wright to his presidential announcement knowing full well of his controversial remarks.
The GOP is foaming at the mouth in anticipation of running against Obama in the general election – how many times do you think you’ll see Reverend Wright’s outrageous and hate filled statements played over and over again in campaign commercials? Or how about his designation as the “Most Liberal” senator? How many commercials will we see about that?
I for one am glad to see Hillary CLinton speaking up about this. For years and years Obama chose to remain silent and sat in the pews, all the while knowing that his Uncle Jeremiah was spewing Anti-American racist hate.
It shows that Obama condones what his Uncle believes. Obama showed a serious lack of judgment and character by remaining at that church and failing to come out and reject Jeremiah's Wright hate speech before it became a political liability for him.
Good job Hillary!!
Sounds like she's desperately trying to remind people of Wright to get the story away from her tall tale of dodging sniper bullets...
This doesn't seem like the smartest play. Doesn't the Obama Camp just respond 15 minutes later with a press release pointing out that Pastor Wright was good enough spiritual counsel for her husband during the Lewinsky aftermath?
He may not have been Hillary's pastor... but he was good enough to be invited to the White House for Bill's contrition...
What about Clinton's association with "The Family"? Why has no one asked her about that? No less a respected journalist than Barbara Ehrenreich broke this story, but the taking heads can't seem to get their brains around it.
http://ehrenreich.blogs.com/barbaras_blog/
Clinton makes a compelling case to not vote for Rev. Wright for president.
Fortunately Rev. Wright isn't on the ballot.
I think she might feel differently however if she had actually been dodging snipers bullets. There are no atheists in foxholes as they say.
Clinton wouldn't go to Wright's house of worship, but she would invite him to her house...THE WHITE HOUSE, when did she happen to find him so divisive. Before or After, or maybe this is just another Flib/(Fib). They are ridiculous, and if the media doesn't call her out on this issue so are they.
Clinton remarks that Rev. Wright "would not have been my pastor" on account of some of his statements. Perhaps another reason is that she was too busy surrounding herself other religious figures, such as Billy Graham.
According to Time.com (Aug 2007), "Hillary Clinton reports that the evangelist [Billy Graham] fulfilled a pastoral role during the Monica Lewinsky scandal and helped the First Lady endure the ordeal. At that time, Clinton says, Graham was "incredibly supportive to me personally. And he was very strong in saying, 'I really understand what you're doing and I support you.' He was just very personally there for me."
Of course, this is the same Billy Graham that thought Jews are "satanic", have a "stranglehold" on the media , "swarm" around him, and that "don't know how I really feel about what they are doing to this country" (all according to the Nixon tapes).
Does she really want to be judged on the company she "chooses"?
What a low-life she is. Her husband has him to the White House.
He would not be her Pastor, because she would not have a Pastor.

Senator Clinton...YOU DID however choose YOUR HUSBAND!
Nobama should resign. I wish Hillary would slam him more. Letting his children sit in that Church listening to that racist minister...if he didn't believe in what he was saying he would have never done that. Nobama is full of hot air.
Give me a break Hillary!
Controversial people have surrounded you and your husband for years!
Way to continue the attack on Obama....I'm sure McCain is loving all the ammunition you are giving him for the fall campaign!
You need to bow out with grace instead of going out with a fight!
PARTY BEFORE SELF!
Imagine Obama's campaign people are complaining about
Hillary Clinton getting away from the issues. It sure seems to me that is all his campaign does when Obama is not talking shots at her himself! Good for Hillary! The Rev. Wright issue is far more serious then the cheap mud they have been slinging at Clinton... With CNN's help of course!

I don't know God and Hillarys Familly Pastor was there by Her side during the blue dress trial period. but I know 100% Rev. Wright was there to confort her familly spirtually.
The media needs to give this MORE attention than they did that Rev.Wright issue b/c those words came OUT OF HC'S MOUTH- NOT A SUPPORTER OR CAMPAIGN STAFFER, BUT RIGHT FROM THE DONKEY'S MOUTH -but I'm sure that b/c she is WHITE and a CLINTON that the media won't fully scrutinize the LIE and the deceptive nature of HC's "EXPERIENCE" (or lack there of for that matter).
What people are not talking about is that obama has the right to worship where he wants. So what if his pastor is a bit of a radical. When you listen honestly to what was said, is it really all that untrue?
And what about the vile from falwell and robertson and the folks(politicians) that listen to them? What about clinton inviting wright to the whitehouse to help obsolve him of the lewinski scandle.
The hypocracy is so deep with this.

For all the mudslinging back and forth, let's get real. Reading all of these blogs I wonder if the most vocal critics support the other camp.
It would be nice for people to state who they support then make their comments.
Regardless, the Democrats again show why they shouldn't lead the country. They eat their own and fight each other better than "they loyal opposition"
McCain has been given the keys to the White House.

This is part of the problem. You have no idea what went on in that Church. Like so many others who are so "righteous" in their assertions, you don't even know thE Church has a youth Pastor. While the adults are in the main sanctuary WITH THE "ADULT" Pastor, the youth are in another portion of the Church with "their" Pastor who gives a sermon geared toward youths.
Since when did the out cry of the deeds become worst than the deeds itself. It certainly wasn't Africans who enslaved themselves here in America. It wasn't African Americans who discriminated against themselves. We all know who is in power here in America. So, how is it racist to call the perpetrators out on the carpet for the most heinous of deeds?
If a gang of Black boys were terrorizing a neighborhood, would it be racist to say, I'm sick of those Black gangs wrecking the streets? No! You would be calling it as it is....and I would support you because I can't stand gangs. But, it's not their race, it's what they do. That's the difference.
Just do a little research before you start down the hate path. That way you'll know who and what you're hating. Which brings me to this thought. If Americans have the right to think and feel anyway they wish, how is it un-American to hate? As long as hate is NOT put into action, you can't demonize Rev. Wright for hating if it's his "All American Right" to do so. Hmm!
Personally, I think we need to give that all American right to do as "I" please a second thought. It's what has us in the mess we're in now.
As for this current lie of Hillary's...Obama would have been finished by now. But she wants to be excused for "misspeaking". OK! I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Here's the catch...
If Clinton gets a pass for words she "misspoke" then Obama gets a pass for words HE DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK!
DEAL?

Okay, I am going to do what James McNair suggested in his blog and state who I support... Hillary Clinton and why... Because despite the media like CNN and MSNBC that want the bundle that Obama has to spend on his campaign, only a fool would think she does not have the ability to run this country more effectively then Obama. He has no track record, everything he did was in preparation for his presidential run. (thank you Oprah) Stop reading the garbage and check out his record in the senate. Obama supporters have to stop making this a football game with racial overtones and research her past accomplishments and experiences and the truth about his. Also remember, it is his campaign that made race an issue long before Rev, Wright. It is his campaign that brings up her husband Bill constantly. He is not the one running for president! But I will say if it had been a caucasian candidate that had a relationship with a racist white pastor, he would be long gone and you all know it!!
Obama attempts to appear that he can't be bothered with dirty politics. Why... because he has others in his campaign do it for him and then hopes to reap the reward in the polls. Plain and simple... He is a huge mistake we will all regret, but then I remember how everyone thought Bush was the way to go. Good-Bye!
An appropriate response from Obama to Clinton would be to have an audience question about Hillary's feelings about Monica. Obama could then reply, "BC wouldn't be my choice of spouse and you, Hillary, have a choice of spouse. You should have left the marriage.
I am a Hillary supporter. If you listen to a hate-filled minister (black, white, or other) for 20 years and say nothing, then you either agree or are not courageous enough to take a stand. There are plenty of ministers (black, white, other) who preach love and change through loving actions. Barack would not even have to be particularly brave, just quietly move to another more loving church. Either he lacks courage or agrees with Reverend Wright's hateful preachings -neither conclusion reflects well on Barack.
Go, Hillary!!! See answered a question amd I for one am glad she did. Why sweep all of Obama's mistakes under the table? He exercised unbelieveably BAD judgement for 20 years!!! Let's ply the "judgement " card! Bad judgement. Mr. Obama. AND he choose to expose his young children to the man spewing hatred of American. His wife was obviously influence by Wright according to some of the comments she's made about our country. She's a real loose cannon! They don't belong in OUR house, the White House!!!!
After thinking back to 911 when a lot of us ran to the churches of America, we heard a lot of condolences, critisms, and condemnations against this country and it’s sin. We heard how America had turned it’ back on the Lord and now he turns his back on America basically. Which to me was the same as saying we were damned because of our cultural condescendance, and depravity. Rev Wright basically said the same thing that I heard when I watched tv preachers Jerry Farwell, Pat Robinson, and Rob Parsley which are white men. Why is it so inflammatory when this black preacher says it is what is a puzzle to me, even if he was one of the candidates pastor go to the other candidates files and find out what their pastors said. I think this was a time when the church stood to point out to Americans that we could not continue to get away from the morals of what this country was built on, that disaster would await. (this is only my opinion). Do you remember weeks after what your pastor, rabbi, clergyman, bishop, even the pope said?

Talk about a REAL leader! She took a stand on principle and DELIVERED! If you really are about principles, you TAKE the right actions. Hillary did and she is no racist. It is about right and wrong and acting on your convictions. Obama did not act. He postures; apparently very well according to the media. I think America is ready for action and solutions; that's why Hillary is my candidate!
She answered the question the same way Obama did, while he was pretending that he had never heard such comments in the 20 years in the pew. OH! Then he said he did. Get off her back, it's his pastor, NOT HERS.
She just answered the question. would you have sat in Jeremiahs Wrights church and said nothing and him be your pastor for twenty years and said nothing.
I guess Clinton hasnt' had any real bad flair ups in a while, guess you guys couldnt' wait to beat her about the head w/ something and she gave you an out. She just gave an honest answer and I agree w/ her
Jeff
Sen. Clinton responded to a question that was fielded and I am glad that for once, she decided to respond to something most Amercans are bothered by.
It seems to me that many Americans who voted for Obma now have buyer's remorse. Clearly, it was Rev. Wright who said all the negative hate speeches against Americans. It was his hate speech tha has resulted in Obama's real face to be shown.
I too was suckered into being an Obama supporter and raised nearly $12,000 in Virginia. Now, I know better. Can you imagine having Rev. Wright at the White House giving sermons ... or sleeping in the Lincold bedroom?
Americans are tired of constant racial mongering by the Obama campain. I will never vote for Obama.
Iraq Vet
I will not vote for either of these yahoos
She has to speak up-she is running for President of the United States and we figured out a long time ago that we cannot trust the right wing media to bring the truth to the table and then when the truth appears try to make it a non issue, of course, so that McCain can run against Obama and beat him. Hey media, Americans care about America (but of course you know that, that is why you are doing things the way you are doing it)I hope Obama realizes that he cannot win the general and that McCain has to go against Clinton, then and only then, will we have a Democrat President!
Things will only get more hectic when a little-noticed interview on NY1 channel's "INSIDE CITY HALL" on Tues March 25, 2008 reaches national attention. A prominent political legend, Percy Sutton, indicated that he had used his political influence to personaly grease the skids to get Obama into Harvard Law, at the request of a lawyer named "Kahlid" who was at the time representing an apparently oil-rich overseas potentate.
Senator Clinton answered a direct question, honestly. Would you rather that she said she would sit still in a church that spewed forth such hatred? Please.

Rev Wright was invited to White House by her husband not by her. That has nothing to do with Hillary. She in no more responsible for that than she is for the blue dress. Some people can't seem to handle a strong woman. Not all of are standing at our husbands side waiting for them to tell us what to think and say.

Bashing women and discriminating, especially reverse discrimination is not attractive in the American public. So at all costs, Americans would rather have someone we know little of (especially his 8 step brothers and sisters), the criminal aspects of Rezko has yet to be finalized in court, lied to Am people re NFTA, whose church he supported honored Farakhan, who then honored his candidacy in kind, has no clue where Iraq is and has had no meetings for his foreign relations committee in Congress and admits he was running for prez already the whole time for the short time in Congress. Otherwise was not even a governor of a state and did local small precinct matters in IL - ???!!!!!!!! Get a grip! are you all that naiive and ignorant of the facts? OR are you so afraid of a woman as a Pres, that you would yet again prefer an incompetent man?

Mrs. Clinton answered a question that was asked of her. Not only do I think she was right in answering it I think it was her responsibility to answer. We have a right as Americans to know how the Presidential candidates feel about the hate speech, racism, and anti-Americanism Mr. Wright preaches in the pulpit. Also, Mrs. Clinton could say the sky is blue and the media would take issue with it. Mrs. Clinton will never win with the media. Everyone knows that. It's not a big secret. Thank God for Hillary Clinton's honesty on this important topic!
Why shouldn't she comment on this issue? You can bet this alone has nearly eliminated Obama's chance to win in November. Remember, he knee-capped himself with Wright by sitting in the pews for 20 years, etc. Once the Repulicans start their full scale assult McCain will win in a landslide. Therefore, in my humble opinion, Hillary better do everything she can to get the nomination or, we the democrats, are doomed again in November. So MSM, if Sen. Obama isn't able to get our nomination because he continues to get an all but free pass, doesn't it behoove us all to find that out now, before it is too late. Or do some the good ole' boys in the MSM, RNC, and possibly the DNC fear a female as "Commander in Chief" so badly that your willing to concede the general election to anyone, as long as it's not Hillary? America really needs her. She is the best choice we have to restore our standing at home and abroad. I am far from alone in that opinion. Take a look at her position papers, plans, and solutions for America, then you decide. After that you will vote Hillary. I know I am. Thank you for considering America first. KY
To Whom This May Concern:
I have been a democrat for over 10 years. I am a minority in 2 ways. Did I ever think the odds were stacked against me, no? I was raised to be a person and respect other people, not for their race, gender, etc. I chose my mentors carefully, and took opportunities when I had them. I embrace History, if it were not for the History of this Country I would not be where I am today. I did not say I approved of all History in the past, but the fact is History has me where I am today. If anyone was ever racist toward me in my lifetime, I was unaware. I have always had respect from people in this Country.
In the beginning of this race I was all for Obama, he is very intelligent and articulate. During the course of this race I researched and have come to the conclusion that the DNC is letting voter’s rights be dismissed in Fl/Mi. Hillary is the best candidate for myself. The DNC is letting The Democratic Party DOWN!

Barak Obama is right. WORDS do matter, and Pastor Wright's WORDS DO MATTER.
This election is starting to remind me of two bratty kids- each one wanting to get in the LAST hit!
Then there's something that's even more painful to watch, and that's a grown man beating up on a woman.
In years past- I'd support the democratic party and could handle whoever the nominee is. It ain't gonna happen for millions of us come November if Hillary is NOT the nominee.
Barack, it doesn't bother us that you fight- but you fight so dirty. I don't mean to offend anyone voting for the man, but his "sucker punch" mentality lacks serious maturity and leaves much to be desired.
Your "CHANGE" has come full circle- turns out you're just more of the SAME.

Once again, Hillary's judgement is superior to that of Obama. And once again his rhetoric is just empty rhetoric. JKF spoke eloquently but he meant what he said and he backed it up with actions.
Obama would have us believe that he will be a great racial uniter. I was extremely attracted to him in the early months because of this. But when faced with the opportunity to be a leader within his own small community, when faced with blind hatred, rather than use that golden tongue of his to sway his pastor, his church congregation, his fellow blacks to seek the middle way, to be calm, to be rational, he said nothing. Rather than getting up and quietly joining another church he stayed and sanctioned the hate spewing pastor with his presence and his contributions.
Hillary Clinton would have shown leadership if faced with the same circumstance. Obama put out a huge speach arguing once again that he would, if elected president, unite us all. He argued - in more empty rhetoric that completely contradicts his own past actions - that he was the leader to bring us together. For Hillary Clinton, a presidential candidate to NOT comment on what she would have done in the same situation and shown her own, superior style of leadership would have been a complete dereliction of her duty. She was most gracious in carefully avoiding saying anything negative or commenting in any way on Obama. That is clean, honorable politics of ideas. Anyone who decries her for attacking him is simply deceiving themselves.
Once again the Obama camp, and many of the bloggers here, try to compare apples with orange groves. The fact that a prominent black pastor was invited to the white house and may have shaken the hand of Rev. Wright isn't even in the same universe as spending 20 years sitting in the pews, Sunday after Sunday, selecting him as your spiritual leader, praising him in a national debate, contributing tens of thousands of dollars to him so he can more effectively spread his hatred for the United States of America, raising him to a position of influence in your presidential campaign, even having him be a teacher to your young impressionable daughters. The fact that any of Obama's supporters attempt to equate the two, simply shows that their judgement is just as bad as their candidates.
It is a patently false and rediculous correlation that no serious mind can take serious no matter who you support for president.
I think Hillary had every right to address the question about Wright since she has been dogged by the media for over a week about it. There is nothing wrong with her answer. The media has done everything to tear down this woman and she continues to hang tough. That's what we need is someone who is strong, intelligent, and have plans to get America back to prosperity and respectability. She is the leader America needs to accomplish this. I totally believe in her.
Hillary Clinton is absolutely correct.
Obama is unelectable. His fatal mistake in attempting to defend the indefensible Jeremiah Wright again today is foolish.
What kind of man, what kind of father would subject his own part white children to the racist, anti-white, anti-American, anti-semitic, pro-Farakhaan, black supremecy, nation of islam supporter Jeremiah Wright in a "church"? Wright believes that the U.S. Govt "created AIDS to kill black people" and that we brought 9/11 on ourselves.
Obama's new "pastor" Moss is no better. Check out his Easter "sermon" on youtube. It's appalling.
Why did and why does Obama choose THIS church from the many choices available in Chicago? Why does Obama call Wright his "mentor"?
This calls into serious question the character and judgment of Barack Hussein Obama. It's ugly and most certainly not Presidential.
Obama's negatives are rapidly rising with the Wright, Moss, Crown, Exelon, and Rezko revelations. What's next?
The Democratic Party needs to remember the majority of it's base is white, female voters. The very voters who want Hillary to be the nominee. There will be many McCain Democrats if Obama is the nominee, we will be among them.
At least Hillary and McCain are patriotic. Country first, party second.
May God Bless America, NEVER, God Da-n America, as Obama's "pastor" & "mentor" Wright likes to shout.
Does not Senator Clinton not have the right to answer questions now? She has the right to vlice her opinion.
Sorry "Senator Obama" supportors she does not feel the same way youe candidate does.
This is Senator Obama problem. He made his bed and now must lie in it.
If he can't take the heat, he needs to stay out of the kitchen!!!!!
Senator Clinton for President. "We are in it to win it"

Amazing! The media never ceases to amaze me. No matter what is said, no matter how it's done, they always spin it positive for Obama and negative for Hillary. Now why is that? We have heard more negative comments about Senator Clinton's well crafted, carefully sculpted, honest comments in a negative light from the press then we have heard about the inexperienced Senator's crack on "typical white women." Who's the racist here people??? It's time we read between the lines of this controlling, Republican spin before we end up with McCain for four years.
How on earth does anyone think that a man with so little experience can go up against a war hero like McCain? I'm not sure I could in all good consciousness vote for Obama over McCain and that's what the Republican's are hoping for. How do we think a man could win a race when they will bombard the media with questions about his judgment. They will show his children and then play the Reverend Wright's homily's (political, profane, speeches to most Americans)? His judgment will not hold any leverage once the Republican's are done with him. Let's face it! It's time America takes back her senses. We need to unite behind someone who can take on the Republican Party no matter what the media is trying to have you believe. Just count the positive and negative adjectives in one article to see if I'm correct. I never thought they would be able to get Bush elected for a second term once all the people fled from his cabinets the first four years. They stated the truth of how he manipulated the war. After all was out on the table (very quickly brushed under) the media played on our fears and was able to get him right back in for another four years. Let's finally start to address the issues we want to address. Let's put our money where we want it spent! Our Country needs us to make good sound decisions and not ones based on media driven diversion.
Sometimes things are just simple. Senator Clinton said Rev. Wright would not be her pastor. Can't we just accept this as a fact? Have an opinion? And move on...susanclare
I told my husband exactly that; we cannot choose our family but we can choose our friends and pastor. Apparently, Obama made the wrong choice when choosing his pastor and his friend Tony Rezco. A "bonehead moment" or a BAD JUDGEMENT?
Oreilly, first of all Nancy Pelosi needs to hush up and stay out of this. Just
because she is the majority speaker does not give her the right to interfere
with a Superdelegates decision. Who does she think she is God? Hillary is not
going anywhere and it is not up to anyone to tell her to quit. Why does anyone
not ask Obama to quit? He is not going to reach the winning number of 2025
either! Please Media do not attempt to tell Hillary what to do! The only
reason Obama is slightly ahead is because Florida and Michigan delegates are not
being counted.
Second the student who asked Chelsea about her father's personal affairs crossed
the line. He got from Chelsea what he deserved. Also, other people may fall for
his ignorant reasons that he gave for asking this stupid question. But I and
many other Hillary supporters do not. Furthermore, his excuse is not reasonable
and makes no sense whatsoever. His question was if her mother's credibility had
been hurt during the Monica Lewinsky scandal. And how does Hillary's credibility
have to with Bill's behavior? This is so absurd! Either he is an idiot
supporter, mentally ill or Obama's undercover supporter!
I believe like many others that he was sent by Obama camp to embarass Chelsea,
Bill and Hillary. A Hillary supporter would have not asked such a sensitive
question! First of all it is none of our business!!
It is like asking Obama "do you think your mother was promiscuous for marrying twice and have children from different man?"

Obama wants us to vote for him b/c he has good judgment. What exactly does he have to show as "good judgment"? Friends like REZKO? Pastor like Rev. Wright? He has got to be kidding. How the heck is this guy going to go up against McCain in a general election?? Don't waste your vote, folks. Vote for the right person, vote for the best qualified person, vote for the LOVE of this country. VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON!!
Clinton's comments were in response to a question asked her by a reporter.
This Rev. Wright mess belongs in the news because he is an indication of the mindset of Senator Obama. Anyone who is a member of a church/organization for 20 years has to have the same views and values as those preached in that church. Obama has no business being our President with the anti-American rhetoric spewed by his pastor/mentor, which he obviously agrees with since he is still a member of the church and claims Rev. Wright as a mentor/friend.
Millions of americans have spoken out against Rev. Wright's hateful and discriminatory behavior, yet the press seems to think Hillary has no right to do so. She has every right as I feel it is important for us to know she does not support Obama's "old uncle" theory. If Hillary belonged to a church which practiced white liberation theology, if her church declared that black America gave whites HIV or if the KKK felt at home there, Obama and his supporters would talk about it from here to Election day.
I am very upset that the media wants to bury this important story concerning Pastor Wright and Obama's relationship to him. I feel very concerned about a potential american president being so close to racist, anti-american, and anti-semitic people.
I agree with Hillary's comment, and I am sure that a GREAT deal of Americans do as well.
Hillary 08!
Edwards was my first candidate, then he lost my vote when he ganged up with Obama on Clinton after Iowa. Obama will never have my vote because he played the race card after New Hampshire, saying Clinton wouldn't cry for the Katrina victims (so she's a racist), or claimed Martin Luther King didn't singlehandedly institute civil rights (despite her only mentioning the historically accurate fact that it was LBJ who strong-armed Civil Rights into law). I will never vote for the race baiter Obama. And race with his Rev. Wrong will drown him under the swiftboats in Nov. I, HF, he's given the nod.
Once again - Obama makes a racist or arrogant remark and somehow it is Hillary's fault.
Please America wake up before it is too late!!
Big big difference between inviting someone to the White House for an evening - and sitting in his church for 20 years. you may fool someone for a night or two but by more than a couple of months most intelligent people would have seen right through Wright's hatred and divisive comments.
Why didn't Obama move his family to another church? Maybe because he agrees with this type of extremist views?
there is no justifiable answer to why he stayed as a member of that church - unless he is plain stupid; has incredibly bad judgment; or as I have come to believe - that type of hatred resonates with Obama. Don't even get me started on the anti-Jew, anti-American, anti-woman rhetoric of Farrakan.
My dad always told me "tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are."
Obama supporters need to be smart enough to realize his rhetoric and smooth talk blinded them for a while - but now that the real Obama is laid bare for all to see - they should care enough about our country and its future, to support Hillary and help her win the nomination.
She is the only Democrat that will win in November.
Republicans have been voting for Obama in the primaries (they certainly did in Texas) because they would rather face Obama (who will not win) than Hillary.
Think about America first - and Vote for Hillary and help her win the nomination. And even though I lost a little respect for John Edwards after Iowa - I have faith that he will see the light - because a Clinton / Edwards ticket would be great!
Did Cameron Hall of MSNBC not interview Hillarys Pastor . I do believe he was impressed with Rev Wrights sermons over his forty year career.
How come this interview has not been played so the American public can make up their mind on Hillarys responce about Rev Wright.
Maybe Opra should be called and advised not to attend the church sermons in question.
If MSNBC opens up dialogue on a subject they should cover both sides.

Indeed, Clinton is like Rocky!
She keeps getting beat up by both Democratic back stabbers and the news media alike. We have realized that Clinton lied about her Bosnia trip, but we also know that Obama has lied about:
1) his relationship with the LUNETIC RACIST Rev. Wright
2) his involvment with the crook Tony Rezko
3) his association with the self-proclaimed Pentagon TERRORIST William C. Ayers
4) his note about his father's arrival in the US due to Kennedy
5) his taking hundreds of thousands of $$$$$$$$$$$ from lobyists
WHAT IS IT GONG TO TAKE FOR AMERICA TO FIGURE OUT OBAMA IS A RACIST, BIGGOT, AND ANTI-SEMITIC?
DO WE HAVE TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID WITIH GEORGE BUSH?
REMEMBER IF WE HAD SLECTED GORE, WE WOULD NOT BE IN THE IRAQ MESS?
Come on people, WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We need someone like Hillary to fight for us the same way she is fighing for the nomination.
