Pencil It In

Hillary Clinton's White House scheds will be available for public perusal tomorrow 10 a.m. ET.

Docs -- all 11,046 of them -- will be issued by the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and the National Archives and available "as soon as possible" at www.clintonlibrary.gov.

The scheds are from the staff files of Patti Solis Doyle, then Special Assistant to the President and Director of Scheduling for the First Lady.

"Doyle was responsible for the First Lady's schedule from 1993 to 1998, and then assumed additional responsibilities as Director of Advance for the First Lady throughout the rest of the Clinton Administration. Arranged chronologically, these records document in detail the activities of the First Lady, including meetings, trips, speaking engagements and social activities for the eight years of the Clinton Administration," according to a release issued today by the National Archives.

More: This file series includes schedules for 2,888 days. Clinton Library archivists processing these records subsequently determined that schedules for 32 days were not included in this series; however, schedules for 27 of those days have now been located, and will be processed as soon as possible. Of the 11,046 pages of schedules that are being opened, 4,746 have redactions. The majority of the redactions pertain to the privacy interests of third parties, including their social security numbers, telephone numbers, and home addresses. In addition, schedules for the first 19 days in January 1993, prior to the inauguration of President Clinton and prior to Mrs. Clinton's tenure as First Lady, have been closed in full in accordance with the Presidential Records Act.

Just like Hillary--start a rucus about Obama and then release some records about yourself that have probably been doctored. The media will give her their usual Clinton pass.

Obama has been pushing for the archives of her schedule to be released for quite some time. He claims it is needed to make a full evaluation of her time during her first lady years. Well with that mentality Obama should push for his wifes thesis to be released from Princeton not be hidden from the public. It seems a little hypocritical to me!

it is to be exspected that obama would ask for hillary to open her archive ..hypocracy has been a big part of his campaign...so why should he stop now...he will insist in some way the michelle's thesis is not part of his campaign...and should not be opened...

I want the Bush Administration records and files - not Clinton's!

The stupidest thing anybody has EVER heard of...lets just call this a "dig"...looking for dirt is all that it is...I heard today on CNN they wanted to know just what she was doing during the Monica Lewinsky scandal???? I would suppose just what any other husband or wife would be doing after hearing such devastating news about your husband, retreating, disgusted, and depressed while her whole life fell apart around her! The Republicans spend MILLIONS of our tax dollars exposing every single dirty little detail back then..so why NOW should we be listeing to it adnausium again...if only to throw dirt. What DOES it have to do with what she CAN do for us as a President. And it is obvious that she did not MAKE UP the things that she says she did...after all she was not ALONE and each and every time she had cabinet people, foreign leaders, and advisors right there with her. It is just a shame what some in the opposit campaign and the Republican Media will do to tarnish anyone that runs for office in this Country. We are lucky ANYBODY wants to do this...the job is just daunting but the horrible attacks are completely uncalled for and should be STOPPED! In the case of Obama I do not feel sympathy for him...he chose to associate himself with racist, anti-american people and the Clinton's had NOTHING to do with any of that and have not made any attempt to worsen an all ready bad situation. But again, He had a choice and his choices caused him to LIE to the voters...and if this were fair all the primaries would be done over and you can be Many voters would vote another way knowing what they know now.

Cheryl,
Unfortunately it is not the Republicans pushing for the records its a fellow Democrat, its Obama who so badly wants to see what she was doing with her time. I agree with you on Obama he went to that church years ago and it was an asset to him because of the connections and the perception of helping 'on the streets of Chicago' and now it may turn into his biggest liability.
