AP/Ipsos: Clinton Has Better Shot At Besting McCain
A new AP/Ipsos survey shows Hillary Clinton defeating John McCain by a wider margin than Barack Obama.
HRC leads McCain, 50% to 41%, while Obama remains virtually tied with McCain, 46% to 44%.

So what? The popular vote is nice and all, but as we found out in 2000 it doesn't mean as much as winning the right states.
And let's not forget how silly this is since there is still a Democratic primary, and people will fudge their answers on this to mess with it. GOPers might pick Hillary because they think she's easier to beat, Obama and Clinton people might pick McCain out of anger or to shift the "who can win" debate.
Tack on that Obama and Clinton are hammering away at each other while McCain is wandering around being happy and you have another problem with the poll.
But if you want to take it seriously, don't forget that McCain is under 45% in both even while the Dems are beating each other up and he's going off scott free. That's gotta hurt.
All in all a poll like this means nothing in April, and is silly.
Something to Note: Trendlines. Yes, Hillary is doing better, however in the last installment of the same poll, Obama was only tied with McCain and hillary up by 3%. Now that Obama actually has a lead, it's interesting but the poll has consistently found favorable numbers for Hillary
