Mitt Alert

In non debate action, Mitt Romney just made an impromptu appearance at the Radio-Tv Correspondents Dinner in DC to offer up the Top 10 Reasons Why I Dropped Out.

Per Hotline editor Amy Walter, here are a few of the 10:

Not as many Osmonds as I thought

Got tired of corkscrew landings

Wasn't room in the campaign for two Christian leaders

I'd rather get fat, grow a beard and try for a Nobel Prize

Once Ann realized I couldn't win, fundraising dried up

Flawed theory that as UT goes so goes the nation

Ann? As in Ann Coulter?

Those buffoons deserve each other.

No Ann as in his wife.

Funny. Funnier than "Samir"

I stand corrected. Well he's still an evil old phony who thinks USA should "double Guantanamo."

Those who fight with monsters should see to it that they themselves do not become monsters.

I saw on Greta after. It was very well delivered and got more laughs than Cheney or the comic guy whose name I can't remember...very very funny

"I'd rather get fat, grow a beard and try for a Nobel Prize."

Absolutely priceless.

Lol, Samir you sound like an evil phoney. I think they should just execute them all and save tax payers money or let them live in Cuba which is pretty much the same punishment. Mitt just looked too perfect for the masses and Ann Coulter is just too truthful and intelligent for the standard moron with no witt whatsoever.

Uh huh. Intelligent is probably the last word I would use to describe her, LOL.

You wouldn't last a minute in a debate with the woman. She would leave you verbally beaten into a permanent coma. She has the gutts and witt that is currently lacking in the Republican party or what is left of it after nominating a rino John Juan McCain.

Romney's "10 reasons why I dropped out of the campaign" was totally spot on. It was funny, and made several inciteful points.

Bravo to Romney. He should have used that humor during the earlier part of his campaign instead of constantly calling McCain and Huckabee liberals ad naseum (even though it's true)

Romney would probably still be in the race had he shown the humor he showed last night.

Overall, the Romney campaign was a disaster, but not for the reasons that many have expressed. The bottom line is that the candidate was better than the campaign, but the campaign ran the show. That's like having a coach who fits her players into her scheme, rather than adapting to the strengths and weaknesses of the players who actually do the work.

LOL Africanus, riiight. All I'd have to do is ask her to explain the fossil record.
