Obama Camp: We Were For NC Debate Before HRC
As Hillary Clinton pushes for a Dem debate in the Tar Heel State, On Call reminds readers that Barack Obama agreed March 13 to a North Carolina face-off. The campaign's release:
OBAMA ACCEPTS INVITATIONS TO DEBATE IN PENNSYLVANIA AND NORTH CAROLINA
CHICAGO -- Today, Barack Obama accepted invitations to nationally televised debates with Senator Hillary Clinton in Philadelphia on April 16th and in North Carolina on April 19th.
The Pennsylvania debate will be hosted by ABC News and held in the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia on Wednesday, April 16. The North Carolina debate, hosted by CBS News at a location to be determined, will be hosted by CBS and moderated by Katie Couric and Bob Schieffer.
“Senator Obama welcomes the opportunity to openly debate Senator Clinton on the issues important to Americans in North Carolina and Pennsylvania and hopes that she will accept these invitations as well,” said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton.
So, knowing that, Obama spokesman Hari Sevugan turns the tables on the debate-demanding HRC:
"While Senator Clinton is focused on debating debates - except, of course, for the one in North Carolina that Senator Obama accepted and she didn't, or the previous 20-plus debates they've already had - Senator Obama is focused on finding real solutions for our families like making energy more affordable and securing our energy independence," he said. "The difference in this election couldn't be more clear."

The difference is clear: Obama can't debate his way out of a paper bag.
It may be of some interest to note that the April 19 debate fell on the first night of Passover, something the Obama campaign clearly didn't notice but that the Clinton campaign did.
When Hillary raised that point, the debate organizers came back with April 27 as an alternative, which Hillary agreed to but Obama did not.
Also be reminded that there is a debate proposed in Indiana on May 6. Clinton has accepted; Obama has not.
connie, I doubt that they would propose a debate on May 6th considering that is the date of the primary.
Yeah, Hillary cares so much for Passover that she held multiple campaign rallies on 4/19.
We really don't need another debate...we are debated out!! What more can be said. If you don't know already which candidate you support, then I suggest that you start reading their web pages and find out their stands are of the various issues.

IT'S TIME AMERICA:
It's time for everyone to face the truth. Barack Obama has no real chance of winning the national election in November at this time. His crushing defeat in Pennsylvania makes that fact crystal clear. His best, and only real chance of winning in November is on a ticket with Hillary Clinton as her VP.
Hillary Clinton seemed almost somber at her victory speech. As if part of her was hoping Obama could have defeated her. And proved he had some chance of winning against the republican attack machine, and their unlimited money, and resources. In all honesty. I felt some of that too.
But it is absolutely essential that the democrats take back the Whitehouse in November. America, and the American people are in a very desperate condition now. And the whole World has been doing all that they can to help keep us propped up.
Hillary Clinton say's that the heat, and decisions in the Whitehouse are much tougher than the ones on the campaign trail. But I think Mr. Obama faces a test of whether he has what it takes to be a commander and chief by facing the difficult facts, and the truth before him. And by doing what is best for the American people by dropping out of the race, and offering his whole hearted assistance to Hillary Clinton to help her take back the Whitehouse for the American people, and the World.
Mr. Obama is a great speaker. And I am confident he can explain to the American people the need, and wisdom of such a personal sacrifice for them. It should be clear to everyone by now that Hillary Clinton is fighting her heart out for the American people. She has known for a long time that Mr. Obama can not win this November. You have to remember that the Clinton's have won the Whitehouse twice before. They know what it takes.
If Mr. Obama fails his test of commander and chief we can only hope that Hillary Clinton can continue her heroic fight for the American people. And that she prevails. She will need all the continual support and help we can give her. She may fight like a superhuman. But she is only human.

Obama will not take a serious look at the working class if he can sweet-talk you to give him your vote. That is why 'he did not say anything after Indian primary'. Should he win in Indiana, he won't come out and be forced to expose to scrutiny about himself. He will just duck and hope the primaries are over.
It is the Americans who are cheated because OBAMA does not want all your votes count and all your voices heard to get a nomination.
He lies to you that the race is over. He is sure to win the nomination.
There is no rule that the one who leads the delegate count at the end of primaries will automatically get the nomination unless it reaches 2025. If neither candidate reaches 2025 at the end of the primary, they have to go to convention for a tie-breaker.
Before reaching 2025 delegates, OBAMA has no more claim of the nomination than Hillary. NONE, WHATSOEVER. No OBAMA don't. Not according to the rules of the party. Obama has not been a leader on big causes in Congress. There was not a single important instance in his Senate career when he demonstrated bipartisanship.
He has a habit of running away and ducking in time of trouble. That isn't a good quality of leadership.
