Ickes On MI Proposal: "Gall And Chutzpah"

Here it is: Hillary Clinton 69 votes, casting 34.5 votes; Barack Obama 59 votes, casting 29.5 votes.

Don Fowler: Says it's not his first choice. But the proposal is the result of extensive negotiations and discussions and is in "the best interest of electing a Democrat in November."

"Harold, this is my position, I respect and love you, but this is what I think we should do, Madame Chair," Fowler adds.

Ickes: "I rise in opposition, but I'll sit. ... We find it inexplicable that this body that is supposedly devoted to rules is going to fly in the face of, other than our affirmative action rules, the single most fundamental rule in the delegate selection process, that is fair reflection."

More: "I am stunned that we have the gall and the chutzpah to substitute our judgment for 600,000 voters."

Accuses the RBC of "hijacking four delegates" from Clinton -- It's "not a good way to start down the path of party unity," Ickes adds.

I believe that the clinton campaign is the poster child for "gall and chutzpah."

I believe that the clinton campaign is the poster child for "gall and chutzpah."

It takes gall and chutzpah, for someone who is arguing that the "Fair Reflection" of a fatally flawed primary in which only one major candidate was on the ballot is as fundamental to the charter of the Democratic Party as the First Amendment is to the Constitution of the United States, to accuse others of having gall and chutzpah.

I am appalled at the decision of the DNC yesterday. Why is it always the little guy that has to follow the rules, government officials, people with money, CEO's and our president doesn't have to, just the little tax payer that you bled us to death. You have taken away our jobs, our homes, our money, our education, our hopes and dreams. Now you are taking our right to vote. I pray that Mrs. Clinton fights for our us because we need a fighter and not someone who associates with hateful people. You can't tell me that Mr. Obama doesn't have his hands in other peoples pockets when he can declare himself the nominee months ago when ALL the people had not voted, to me its politics as usual. Mrs. Clinton can't be bought by the old boy's club. I'm changing my affiliation from the democratic party to independent and hope Mrs. Clinton stays in the race. We know the Clinton's, but we don't know the Obama's and actions speak louder than words

Hillary Clinton, a US Senator and the wife of a former President, is the little guy?

Everyone should be appalled by the Michigan decision. You don't take votes from one candidate and give them to another. It is wrong, and we should recognize it as wrong no matter who we support. This morning, I also changed my affilation from Democrat to unaffiliated.

Wonder how many of "them " Democrats .. know
the meaning of the word ? ! My definition is a
simple one...
The kid that was in jail. Asks his friend on
the outside to get him a stereo. He gets it and
then complains to his friend ..that
