Oh my Gawd - Stephanie Tubbs Jones hasn't been indicted yet?
At the same time, Obama supporters will be canvassing the surrounding areas registering new voters - seriously. The Clinton supporters in Florida and Michigan have no one to blame but their own state Democratic parties.
At the same time, Obama supporters will be canvassing the surrounding areas registering new voters - doing the ACTUAL WORK TO WIN IN NOVEMBER. The Clinton supporters in Florida and Michigan have no one to blame but their own state Democratic parties for breaking the rules.
How did this turn into a women issues. Hillary will not be treated well in history...her legacy is toast.
Hillary is a horse's rear-end whose brain has turned into mush.
ALL OBAMA SUPPORTERS HAVE BEEN ASKED BY HIS CAMPAIGN TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS TIME BOMB! AS LONG AS WE ARE REGISTERING VOTERS FOR HIM, WE SHOULD NOT BE ANYWHERE NEAR THE HOTEL!
Like the other commenter, I am SHOCKED Stephanie Tubbie Jones is going to be there since she is HRC's right hand gal! {Makes me wonder!}
We had already heard that clinton has I believe 13 people in this panel that are her supporters. HRC cannot even begin to go in this meeting DEMANDING these delegates be SEATED "ONLY" HER WAY! These people know that it cannot be seen as a 'ONE SIDE MY SIDE ONLY' should count. This has to speak to her opponents prospects as well, so she can't believe that they will come away givibng all the delegates to clinton. [Sometimes with little babies, a parent has to give in, but once that baby has grown up and becomes a child, that child learns real quickly that things do NOT always go that childs way so that they can learn as adults that most of the time things won't go your way at all! Get over it and move on ! That is just life, but apparently HRC did not learn that lesson and is still in the "child" phase of "I WANT MY OWN WAY AND THAT IS THE ONLY RIGHT WAY SINCE IT'S MY WAY!!!! Guess she never grew up!
Some women give credence to all those who rant we are too emotional and not reasonable. Does HRC and her group really believe this is going to help her cause? Quite the opposite I think.
And again, which Dem. Presidential candidate is taking the high road and behaving like a statesman? Clue - it isn't the blonde.
I hope Obama's supporters take his plea to heart and stay away from this debacle.
Let's agree to the rules. Then let's ignore them in favor of newly-created rules that we choose after the fact just because they will put an enabler of a sexaholic back in the White House. What do we call it? FEMINISM!
As a former NOW chapter president, and a recipient of the Susan B. Anthony Award, I am imploring Kim Gandy not to say something foolish at that protest

Eric Massa has not been elected to Congress. He ran a competitive race last time in NY-29 and will have a rematch with the incumbent.
But Fred, National Journal doesn't get these things wrong--their reputation is built upon accurately reporting on Congress and its Members. So if National Journal says that Eric Massa has already been elected, it's time Congress update its roster--time to swear in Congressman Eric Massa!
First, the penalty for rule infraction should never have targeted the voters, or their votes. The voters had no part in either making the rule, or breaking the rule. Second, the Democratic Party has always stood up for counting every vote. Obama supporters are going against a basic principle of our party in their opposition to counting these elected delegates' votes from MI and FL. Third, Obama supporters had a great chance to win more delegates votes, and unify our party, through re-votes. They failed to enthusiastically join in the initiative for re-votes. Now, they want to insist that the votes as cast in the only elections held, cannot count toward winning the nomination. If they are to be counted, as they should be, these are votes of American citizens; they have to be counted as cast. "Made up" votes, or altered votes, are not permitted under our Constitution. You would not stand for your votes to be altered, and we FL and MI voters will not stand for our votes to be altered.
Obama supporters, either agree to the re-votes in FL and MI, or agree to accept the votes as cast. Do not continue trying to dominate the selection process. As a TIME writer wrote yesterday, both Obama and Clinton are equally self-interested in this matter. We need to recognize our self-interest, and move beyond it. We need to look at the principles that have made our party great, and be true to those principles, notwithstanding our partisan enthusiasm for our candidates. We need to unite the party, and go forward together to win in November. If this problem is not solved in a way that shows full respect for the voters of FL and MI, our party will be splintered, and will be weak in the November election. Obama supporters, do you want that on your conscience? Choose to respect and count the votes of all Democrat Americans, not just the votes that give you the result you want. Don't try to manipulate the vote, try to win the vote, fair and square.

"Obama supporters, either agree to the re-votes in FL and MI, or agree to accept the votes as cast. Do not continue trying to dominate the selection process"
Get real. Clinton agreed not to participate in FL/MI primaries in writing. Aa did all candidates. Obama nor Clinton supporters signed any pledges to uphold DNC rules. ALL 13 RBC Clinton supporters voted to strip both states of their delegates. Clinton has stated and is on record, "These elections do not count." Bottom line Obama nor Clinton supporters, nor either candidate have a vote in the RBC ruling. All candidates have a platform to let their position be known, but the written by laws are what govern the decidsion. The RBC makes the ruling, not Obama or Clinton supporters. All the divisive Obama supporters v. Clinton supporter yak, yak as well as the re-vote whining, does nothing but take up blog space as desparate sore loser ditch efforts. Email and blog your MT/FL state legeslator, partifcularly FL D-Geller who mocked the process as they broke party rules--he has a starring roler on youtubenow doing just that. Email all 13 Clinton RBC Members who voted to strip both states of all of their delegates--Ickes is one that has stayed on the Clintantic. As a DNC chairman T. Maclauffe (sp) wrote the RBC rules. So after an unimanous Clinton 13 team vote to strip delegate votes, agreed signed rules by Hillary Clinton, we have a sexism/feminist protest rally to support breaking DNC rules. Add the Stephanie Tubbs Jones indictment. Any wonder why Democrats, lose, lose, then lose again.
