Huff Post: McClellan To Testify Before House Judiciary
The Huffington Post's Sam Stein is reporting that former White House press secretary Scott McClellan will testifiy 5/20 before the House Judiciary Committee. Cue the circus. Think Valerie Plame, the rush to war in Iraq and possibly talk of the Bush administration's policy on torture.
Stein writes: "McClellan will be the highest-ranking Bush administration official to be pressed by Congress on the Plame affair. Former Bush strategist Karl Rove has refused to testify, citing executive privilege."
Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers extended the invite to McClellan.

I've got a ten-spot that says all this will be a tempest in a teapot. McClellan's got nothing and he knows it. Hell, if he did have some explosive material in his possession, he'd have ratted out the Bush Administration a long time ago. Scottie-Boy's "15 minutes" are winding down and it's clear he wants to get all the mileage he can out of his tome before it's consigned to "Bargain bin hell."
Shucks, if we're REALLY lucky, Conyers will be actually stupid enough to make McClellan testify under oath. If he does, then Scottie won't be able to provide his breathless testimony without perjuring himself in the process and, in turn, making Conyers look like the dotty, knuckle-headed idiot we all know him to be.
Put Scottie under oath.....PUH-LEEEZE!!!
