McAuliffe Is Indeed Disneyland Bound

WASHINGTON -- Looking relaxed, Hillary Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe told reporters gathered outside the candidate's home today that the entire staff is looking to "take some time, relax, and do everything we can to help Barack Obama."

"It was a great campaign, 17 months, everybody worked their hearts out," he said. "Talk about her breaking the glass ceiling, and I think she shattered it. She got in, she got more than 18 million votes, she won a lot of important states. I think I speak for all the staff here, they're very proud. It was an exciting campaign. It was very close, but now we do everything we can to help Barack Obama become the next president, because it's about the issues."

McAuliffe said Clinton's mood is "great." Asked if she'd soon do a campaign swing for Obama, he said she would "do anything."

"She has made that clear, she will do anything she can to help Barack Obama," he said. "If he wants her to travel every day she'll do that."

McAuliffe did not provide much insight into what Clinton would say tomorrow, noting only that she would get people "pumped up."

As for McAuliffe himself? "Disneyland," he said, with his five children.

It looked like Terry had been staying at Disneyland the last couple of months. Then again maybe he is going to Dineyland for a reality check.

He's going to the Tiki Room.

Terry reminds me of Don King, the boxing promoter. He'll hustle his way to what he feels are the winners. Makes me laugh.

Terry,
Have a nice time with your kids. I'm sure they've missed you.

if we keep fighting we won't win.

Well, that's fair, since he has had all the rest of us there for six months ...

Hopefully he goes to DisneyWorld and NEVER EVER comes back. One has to wonder if he was a plant along with Mark Penn to make her lose the primary. He is the kind of privilege, entitled DLC-type dem that seemed to feel like Karl Rove tactics were all the rage and actually believes that she should not have talked with the radio networks and the netroots which could have helped her out. He killed her campaign just like anything campaign he's ever touched. Please Barack do not let this man within 10000 feet of you for any reason least of all in a professional campaign type function. Be warned!

To the comment above. I understand how hard it is when the person you vie for does not come through. I supported Clark in the last presidential primary...

I am Clinton's prime constituency. I am a liberal Democratic woman, and frankly she turns me off. Presidential politics is a contest of charisma, and sadly Hillary just does not have the chops. This has little to do with Terry.

The person I was rooting for did get through...Barack. However, I do like Hillary and either one should be able to beat McCain handily. I just don't want Terry to be involved in Obama's campaign now that Hillary's campaign is over.

From what I saw of him, he's been a part of Disneyland for a while. GOOFY!!!!!!!

Hi guys

My wife and I have our seventh anniversary coming up soon and I typically get her high-end jewelry. Unfortunately I recently got fired from my job and I haven't told her know yet. I was contemplating buying her something from a Replica Handbags store but worry that it might be morally wrong?

What do you guys think? Please post honest opinions.
