Signed, Sealed, Delivered

Barack Obama's podium seal bit the dust today after just one outing. Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs told CNN today: “That was a one time thing for a one time event."
The seal, which debuted at a Friday Obama event and was roundly criticized for looking too much like the presidential seal, featured the Latin “Vero Possumus.” Translation -- "Yes We Can."

Glad this seal is retired. One person I hope retires is Keith Olbermann, as he is a disgrace to journalism. He is the worst sexist on MSNBC.
Suuuure, it was "one time only." If there had been no pushback, the seal would have stayed.
Olbermann's not a sexist. Like most people, he just hates Hillary Clinton. (Does anyone else remember when he was accused of being in the tank for Hillary after Iowa?)
@J.T.: WTF. Where did that come from?
A hammer and sickle would have been more appropriate.
Am I the only one who finds this, you know, funny?
Olbermann is a sexist. Go watch what he says about other women in the public eye. He also advocated an unnamed man in the Democratic party taking Hillary Clinton into a room and beating her up until only the man came out. He should be fired like Don Imus was fired by the same network.
What a shock GOP hypocrisy...

Hey Seth, all of those are based on the Great Seal of the United State - NOT the presidental seal. Huge difference. The Great Seal is open to all Americans but the Presidental seal is available to well the guy who gets sworn in.

and yeah, I totally buy that the Obama campaign spent time and money researching the Latin, designing and manufacturing that seal for a onetime use.
Researching the Latin? For "Yes, We Can"?!
RESEARCH? Sheesh, any ninth-grade English teacher could probably come up with that off the top of her head.
