Another Day At The Beach

Is John McCain REALLY this stupid?
A. Does no one at the McCain campaign realize the irony here?
B. This is nothing new. Back in my previous life as a Republican volunteering for the Bush campaign, we had John Kerry flip flops at one of the campaign offices.
Heh LN, you were a RINO, not a conservative. Glad you left. We're taking the party back from your type.
Conservatives favor massive budget deficits, jihads to remake the world in our image, and policy based on our emotions instead of science. That's what Edmund Burke wrote about, after all.
Live up to your conservative ideals, KansasGirl! Vote McCain!
Democrats favor massive tax increases, surrender to the Islamic jihadists trying to overtake the world, and policy based on meaningless phrases such as "hope! change!" instead of actual ideas. That's what Barack Hussein Obama stands for, after all.
MM, very strange stuff you're on there. What do you plan to do next year, when Obama is president? I hear New Zealand is a great place to live, and they do speak English. Of course, they have all that socialism you're scared of....
What McCain flip Flops? Why not? Balance the budget, while fightingtwo (or three?!) wars and cutting taxes?? if the shoe fits....
Actually Obama wants to attack the jihadists where tehy are (in Afghanistan and Pakistan), instead of fighting phyrric victories over oil, while basically poutting a pro -Iranian government into power in Iraq.
BTW When America was at its peak as a superpower (1946-65) we have much higher taxes (especially on the wealthy). This funded our national highway system (which is now disintegrating) helped many Americans leave poverty and created a first class education system (which is also disintegrating).
If you want to see the future of a Republican America go to the third world country (let's say Guatamala), where a monied oligarchy lives behind armored gates, while the other 95% of the population struggles among a rotting infrastructure.
Give me that Truman/Eisehower /Kennedy 'socialism' anytime!
