Another negative TV spot from John McCain's camp. This one notes that Barack Obama is "the biggest celebrity in the world," and features footage from Obama's Berlin speech and shots Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears. But a female narrator asks, "Is he ready to lead?" The spot accuses Obama of opposing offshore drilling and promising to raise taxes on electricity.

This is racism, people. Echoes of the "Call Me" ad against Harold Ford in 2006.

This is the reason why Barack Obama should be our President. These tactics show the worst of America. We need the BEST of America. We need to move past the old divisive mud-slinging politics of personal attacks and move towards solutions for our country. We need Barack Obama as President now more than ever.
No one can dispute that McCain is a bigger celebrity than DC Madam and Anna Nicole Smith.
