Club For Growth Hearts Palin

Club for Growth PAC statement on possible Sarah Palin pick (nice alliteration, no?) issued this a.m. ...

Washington – With all the talk about Sarah Palin being picked for vice-president, the Club for Growth PAC described the Alaska Governor as a genuine reformer who has taken on wasteful spending in her own state.

“At a time when many Republicans are still clinging to pork-barrel politics, Governor Palin has quickly become a leader on this issue,” said Club for Growth President Pat Toomey. “She is a principled reformer who understands how badly wasteful spending has marred the Republican brand.”

Governor Palin has proven herself to be a reformer unafraid to take on the establishment, which she did early on when she took on the incumbent Republican governor of Alaska in 2006. Only nine months in office, Governor Palin instructed the state to abandon the notorious pork project secured by Alaska’s politicians, the $223 million “Bridge to Nowhere.” While many Republicans in Congress are afraid to antagonize Washington’s biggest porkers, Sarah Palin stood strong for fiscal responsibility. Palin is also a persistent advocate of drilling in ANWR and expanding America’s domestic oil supply in general.

NBC already spinning the lack of experience. They are inching towards the trap. Guess who else doesn't have ANY executive experience? Somehow, I don't think this is going to be an issue. Hairplug man will also have to watch his mouth at the debate at Washington U or be perceived as being a meanspirited sexist.

What a transparent attempt to win the female vote. I hope someone asks her how she can support someone who thinks that a man in her position, should make more than she does for doing the same job. I have no respect for a woman who can ignore something so fundamental about what America stands for and dies for. Maybe McCain will try to lower the deficit by hiring a large percentage of women to the federal government.

More reason to vote against the McSidekick/Ice Queen ticket. The Club for Growth wants to kill the federal government by defunding the whole thing. It's just the completely WRONG tact for our times.

Here's the slogan:

Palin, Ready to Lead :)

Ice Queen, didn't Hillary have that name trademarked?

Lefties don't understand what a fantastic pick this is for McCain! Immediately does the following: completely cements the conservative base; brings true Catholics and all pro-lifers to McCain without doubt (can't wait for the infanticide issue to be debated); helps dramatically with women, even some non zealot pro-choicers; Obama who?? he didn't even need to give a speech now. Can't use the no experience argument because of who is at the top of the D ticket. McCain himself takes care of that. Superb, superb, superb pick!! The Ds don't know what just hit them. It is a game changer. Just look at the faces of the D strategists right now. Bob Beckel looks deflated and is honest enough to recognize the problem for his party it causes. I am so very, very pleased.

No, hack, you're thinking of Cindy McFrozen.

That's all ya got? Spin spin spin. And what about all those posts you made where we were supposed to feel so bad for you living in Flyover country. And as it turns out, you don't give a damn about Flyover country, just being a GOP partisan Rovian toady.

Spin spin spin. Vote against Flyover Country. Vote against your neighbors and your brothers and sisters. Vote against America and against Economic progress. It is insulting.

I am voting against your Master George Soros.

mccain pandering to women... he's real desperate. especially when she has baggage from a few court cases...

So lets get this straight - the Dems can't call her out on a lack of experience because of Obama's perceived lack in that dept.? Okay fair enough if you want to go that route - but look at the reverse - this pick COMPLETELY undercuts John McCain's primary, and only real argument against Obama. If Obama's not ready to lead - how is Palin? The pick was made for the reasons cited by bio mom - as well as the hope that just by having a woman on the ticket Hillary's supporters will come running. This was a shrewd but utimately misguided pick. McCain can't win without a large scale defection of Hillary supporters - so does this smack of desperation and pandering? Yes yes it does!

My first reaction was, "WOW" nice move for the Republicans, then I began to take a look at this woman and I was not impressed. If you are going to use a woman in such a obvious way, then by all means find the best. There are plenty of excellent choices in the party, her experience is scary. frankly I could reform a state with under 700,000 people. Yet with the party grasping for straws, I am not surprised.

Just as Bush said one day and it was overlooked and dismissed by the media, "I know how the American people think." He was speaking after Obama had said something negative about him. He meant he knows that American Caucasian people will overlook things that make them look bad. They will overlook the fact that Palin is under investigation and vote for her just because she is Caucasian. Unlike Obama who was punished for just knowing and listening to his pastor preach! Look at it this way: If Obama was under investigation, how far do you think he would have gotten in this race? Hillary would be the nominee now!

...and FOR Dick Cheney.

She is a breath of fresh air, in the political ring.

haha haha can't stop laughing. McCain and his camp are really something.I can't wait for the RNC and how this drama turns out.
