New Barack Obama TV ad highlights John McCain's relationship with Ralph Reed, whose connections to Jack Abramoff forced him to bail from a recent fundraiser for the GOP nom.
Narrator: Ralph Reed, "In deep with convicted felon and lobbyist Jack Abramoff, but when the Senate investigated the senator in charge never even called Reed to testify. That senator? John McCain. And who's now raising money for McCain's campaign? Ralph Reed."
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the spot will run in Atlanta only, beginning tomorrow. The campaign did not release the size of the buy.
And NBC/NJ's Adam Aigner-Treworgy reports that the McCain camp responded to Obama's ad by invoking the name of a close pal of the Dem nom. "If Barack Obama wants to have a discussion about truly questionable associations, let’s start with his relationship with the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers, at whose home Obama’s political career was reportedly launched."

Looks pretty painfull. I guess Barack was right, McCain does not know who he is dealing with, McCain actually thought Barack was tougher, but now that he is closer, McCain says "I thought you would be taller".
One technical point: Did you notice that this is one of the few (if not only) ad in which the candidate's voice does not say: "I'm Barack Obama and I approved this message."? It only has a little tagline on the last scene: "Approved by Barack Obama."
Pretty stupid to bring up Ralph Reed when he unequivocally lied about the extent of his involvement with Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers. Hope he is ready to talk about his relationship to Ayers and Bernadine (Charles Manson fan) Dohrn. Obama kicked off his political career with a fundraiser at the home of Ayers and fellow Weather Underground terrorist Dohrn. Ayers and Obama sat on the board of directors for the Woods Fund. Obama had a relationship with Bill's father as Chicago Public Education Fund on the Fund's Leadership Council. He also served alongside Bill's brother John on the "Leadership Council" of the Chicago Public Schools Education Fund. Obama was part of the ABCs Coalition, created by Thomas Ayers and coordinated by Bill, and Obama and Bill jointly participated in the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. The truth of the matter is that to Barack Obama, terrorist Bill Ayers is "just some guy in the neighborhood" to which he has deep personal, professional, and political ties dating back two decades. By the way Obama, Who is Mike Klonsky? Oh yea, Klonsky was a hardline maoists in the SDS in the late 60's, later forming a pro-Chinese sect called the October League that morphed into the Beijing-recognized Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) who is now a member of the Obama campaign.
