Barack Obama's campaign releases an ad that seeks to put an end to the GOP's successful push last week to frame John McCain and Sarah Palin as mavericks. The campaign issued a statement saying the spot will run in key battleground states.
AP: "...in her two years in office, Alaska has requested nearly $750 million in special federal spending, by far the largest per-capita request in the nation. And as mayor of Wasilla, Palin hired a lobbyist and traveled to Washington annually to support earmarks for the town totaling $27 million."
I he only voted with Bush 90% of the time, that still makes him a 10% MAVERICK!!!
Good AD need more REAL ISSUE here is John McCain's FAILURE OF JUDGMENT in his willingness to put this UNQUALIFIED PERSON one heartbeat away from the presidency. The Dems must not just attack the maverick lie, they must ATTACK the "she's qualified" lie. McCain has replaced "America First" with "politics first". McCain's BAD JUDGMENT would risk our security, our economy and our liberty by placing a TOTALLY UNQUALIFIED PALIN in the whitehouse.

Palin now attends the Wasilla Bible Church. She was there on August 17, just days before entering the national spotlight. David Brickner, the founder of Jews for Jesus, was a speaker. He told congregants that terrorist attacks on Israel were God's "judgment" of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity. Brickner said, "Judgment is very real and we see it played out on the pages of the newspapers and on the television. When a Palestinian from East Jerusalem took a bulldozer and went plowing through a score of cars, killing numbers of people. Judgment -- you can't miss it."
Judgment of Jews in Israel not converting to Christianity. Uh huh. The fact that she was there bearing witness to that extremist garbage should disqualify her from any federal seat instantly. Dissing the Jewish people and the Jewish Democracy of Israel -- one of the USA's strongest allies for over 50 years -- is simply unacceptable.
