VA Is For Campaigners
McCain and Palin bring their roadshow to the Washington metro area tomorrow, with a rally in battleground VA. Van Dyke Park, Fairfax City.

Sticking To Script
The AP's Kugler isn't impressed with Palin's stump-speech only strategy. Interview time.

Would If We Could
The Dems found a WSJ report that they'd dispatched 30 lawyers, researchers and general snoops to AK to browse Palin's history positively hilarious. DNC research dir. extraordinaire Mike Gehrke: "My theory is that he saw the RNC 's Washington Lobbyist Branch of the Ted Stevens Fan Club. They woke up and realized 'OMG, we shoulda vetted her.' Seriously, we used locals to get done what we needed to. Didn't take anywhere near 30 ... In fact, it was like shooting moose in a barrel."

The 'Real Deal' Truth Squad
But Gehrke said the Dems will rollout their own "Alaska Truth Squad" tomorrow. They'll debut real Alaskans who'll comment about Palin's record as guv.

On Call Aside: It's been twelve days straight, by the by, that Palin has dominated the news. What do the Dems have to do to change the dialogue back to 'It's the economy, stupid' and to reinforce their change creds?

Every female Dead-Ender they could find. Greeaaat! The Right is just making it so easy to disprove the fake "Change" mantra. It's all the same people who did this to us in the first place! Do they really think we're stupid?

To the question: "What do the Dems have to do to change the dialogue back to 'It's the economy, stupid' and to reinforce their change creds?"

They're already doing it. They do it every day. Like today in Lebanon, VA. Obama and Biden are taking the Democratic brand of Change to rural areas and Conservative areas who -- like most of the country -- think that when it comes to Republican-style governing: 8 is ENOUGH!

Just b/c the MSM chooses to ignore that fact doesn't mean it's not happening.

Obama has come a long way down the crapper. Bye bye O great Messiah of the crapper. In fairness though, you have given us plenty of laughs along the way. And Biden is the original clown. But it's time for the curtain to fall. Time for your circus to fold up the tents and get on back to Chicagoland where the felons and criminals play. Don't let the door hit you in the arse. hehehehehe

Funny Ethan, what exactly has been middle America's response to the Obama/Palin ticket & their platform, judging by the polls I'd say their message is falling upon deaf ears. But then again, these are the same people constantly referred to, by the left, as sheeple, idiots, far right, etc.

BHO has had his fem-squad out for a week. Aunt Bea McCaskill has been all over TV and radio. She is so desperate she was actually trying to talk Republicans into "looking into the Bob Barr campaign". The host literally laughed at her. She's gone next election. The campaign HQ's in Flyoverland have more volunteers than phones now. I received four calls today. The people are taking over from the biased media. NBC NBC NBC NBC

Hahaha. More Republican hypocrisy. Complaining about media bias. You don't hear them complaining about Faux News tho.

John S. McCain is getting caught in his lies. Campaign is run by lobbyists, what else would you expect?

Mr. Ethan,
I recommend you read a little post from Iowahawk entitled Obama Pix Hipster Prix to Reclick with Stix Hix. It's satire. It features you. I hope you "get it" but I'm not holding my breath.

I think your side has made it ABUNDANTLY clear what you think of rural communities and conservatives. Thank you for helping energize our base.

We here in downstate Illinois are of the "fool me once" variety. Not again. Anyone up for volunteering in WI, OH or MO? I am!

I support sustainable agriculture, family farms, distributed renewable energy, rethinking subsidies to big corporate agriculture, rural broadband lines.

What do YOU support?

This is just more of the same from a Karl Rove-type lying Republican. More lies from the Republican Party. It's time all Americans reject people like Kent who willfully lie for political advantage.

I welcome rural voters and Conservative voters who support Barack Obama.

The fact is, the Republican Party's "leadership" on rural issues is absolutely abysmal.
