The RNC has a new spot out today alleging that Barack Obama will spend an additional $1T to bailout the U.S. economy. The ad will run in WI, OH, MI, PA, VA and IN.
Narrator: "Who pays? You do. New taxes. New spending. New debt. Barack Obama’s plan: It will make the problem worse."
The ad sparked outrage from Team Obama, who sent oppo to reporters emphasizing John McCain's longtime support for the type of deregulation that led to the current economic crisis.
“For John McCain’s party to demagogue a rescue plan that he supports in order to score cheap political points is not only dishonest and dishonorable, it is the height of irresponsibility on a day when we urgently need to pass that plan to prevent an economic catastrophe. So much for country first,” said Bill Burton, a spokesman for Obama's campaign.
So much for John McCain's "let's not make this a partisan issue"!!
That ad was not by John McCain... but the RNC.
AND... any response to the actual content of the ad? I too am wondering HOW Mr. Obama plans to pay for all his projects. More taxes is the only answer cuz we know damn sure he is not going to cut any entitlement programs.
I make over $45K / year so under Obama's plan I will be made to pay more. I pay enough already. Stop spending the money I work hard for!!!
Since he will be negotiating his way through to peace with the muslim world, he will probably cut our defence.
If the Republicans were a division of my company, with a record of incompetence, we would not be "rehiring" them but firing them.
The idea that we give them "one more chance" after the results of the last 8 years would be laughable if it wasn't so maddening.
So if one person in your company has bad performance you get rid of him/her and all who associate with him/her. Republicans and Democrats make up congress. Look at congresses approval rating its even lower than the President. If one side is good and the other evil, why have the good not taken action? The Democrats voted reight there along with the Republicans, you can't blame one without the other. If you own a company large enough to have divisions you will be paying more taxes under Obama's plan if he is elected, fact, read the plan at the reverend ethan's web site. You are one of those he is targeting as not paying your fair (Neighborly)share. mVote for Robin Hood, the Obamasiah, and/or mickey mouse. it will not effect me, I took steps 2 years ago when John McCain warned us of this situation.
