The back and forth prompts McCain to raise the Bill Ayers issue, saying voters deserve to know full extend of Obama's relationship with him. Also mentions ACORN, which he says is about to perpetrate great fraud against the American people.
Obama: "Mr. Ayers has become the centerpiece of Sen. McCain's campaign" so let's get the facts out. "Bill Ayers is a professor of education in Chicago." Forty years ago he engaged in "dispicable" acts when I was eight years old. Says he spent time on a local education foundation board with Ayers.
I think the fact that this has become central to McCain's campaign, Obama said, "says more about your campaign than it says about me."
Senator Obama seems to forget that his political career was launched in the living room of Mr. Ayers. No doubt that most in the mainstream media have forgotten this, as well.

That's correct, Steve. I'd like to remark on how they were both supposed to bring up negative things they've said about each other to their faces but instead decided to bring up what the other candidate said about them. Lovely.

Apparently McCain is so concerned about bringing Obama down that he forgets what is really important, which is getting us out of this mess. He does not talk about what he is going to do for us but instead he tells us what Obama has done in the past. The past is the past and the future is what is important right now. McCain tells you one thing and will do another.
So, you support a man who consorts with terrorists who wants to raise taxes in a recession "to get you out of this mess". Appealing to your obvious predilliction for class warfare, your wanting to stick it to those rich people who worked their butts off while you sipped your latte while watching Sex and the City, yeah that will get us out of this mess. You are the modern day man in the Aesop Fable. You can kill the golden goose by penalizing ambition just as surely as the man who cut open the golden goose because it wasn't laying golden eggs fast enough.
How could we ever vote for a man to be our president who has any connection to Bill Ayers. I wish on the debate they would have gone into detail who he was. Alot of people dont know about his involvement with the nyc ploice head quarters, the capital bldg and pentagon. Or even the name of the Group he ran......weatherman
