"Chair"
New Republican National Committee spot running in "major markets in target states" calls attention to Barack Obama's lack of executive experience.
Script available after the jump.
VO: Meltdown. Foreclosure. Pensions, savings wiped out.
And now our nation considers elevating one of the least experienced people ever to run for President.
Barack Obama: he hasn’t had executive experience.
This crisis would be Obama’s first crisis. In this chair.

And John McCain's executive experience is...?
And they think swing voters would prefer Sarah Palin?
Shorter RNC: Waaaaaah!
Seriously, this basically reads like they're conceding the election but scolding the voters for their foolishness in electing a dude who hasn't served even one term as mayor of Wasilia.
Don't let the door hit you...
This is also a joke compared to the new Obama ad that uses McCain's own words to remind everyone that he's Bush-lite despite his "witty" comment at the debate. That ad will work. This ad won't resonate. Back to the drawing board RNC.
I like how "the chair" is the focal point of this ad. Oooh that's so scary! It's very effective. This clinched it foe me -- I've made up my mind now. I'm going to vote for the old man with cancer and his intellectually retarded running mate.
Actually, Obama has had executive experience, albeit on a small scale. As president of the Harvard Law Review, he was editor-in-chief over 80 other editors. From June of 1985 to May of 1988, he was the executive director of Chicago's Developing Communities Project. He was also founding president of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge and served on its board of directors from 1995-2002, not to mention serving on a number of other foundation boards in Chicago.
Finally, a candidate for office is the CEO of his campaign, and Obama seems to have put together a very effective team, judging by the results he has gotten. Certainly it runs far more smoothly than McCain's seems to.
It's not the chairmanship of Hewlett-Packard, but I think it compares favorably with being mayor of Wasilla, Alaska and with whatever executive experience John McCain has had in his life.
Hey slb, send me some of what you are smoking. The Harvard Law Review? He hasn't even filled his first pothole yet. Gimme a break.
Dubya had executive experience......kinda shoots that argument in the backside, doesn't it.
McCain has NO EXECUTIVE experience and has demonstrated that he relies on corrupt lobbyists and shoots from the hip. We don't need an erratic person in the White House who really has no interest in policy and really does not have the depth of intelligence and understanding that Obama has. And as my Pal Palin likes to say. Obama would bring forward a competent team ALSO!
