Why your sample is so small? 838 for 3 days is clearly not enough.

I still can't believe you could have published a poll result just a couple of days ago that showed Obama having almost no lead among women, thus putting McCain only a single point behind overall. Gave all our poor Republican brethren false hope. At least you're up to a fairly reasonable looking 14% now, though I'm pretty sure that's still a little too low.

Actually 831 is probably enough for the top line numbers. It does make breaking down these numbers into constituent groups a bit harder and less accurate however.. Also the realitivly small sample (compared to Rasmussen and Gallup) make this poll a bit more volitale.

If only the election could happen soon.Us dems would control all branches of the govt.Oh happy day!

Yeah, that will be great Skip. I can't wait to go to the re-education camp.

does HOTLINE asks

if you are voting for obama or McCain ?

OR do they Phrase their questions so it ALWAYS tips towards obama?

eg..."do you want lower taxes?...cause if you do--you must want obama....!! lol

what a joke

It's a joke.

Re-educate all those racists who did not vote for Obama.

What'd they do...add all the margins of the battleground states together?

I thought only dumb teenagers used abbreviations like LOL. Anyway, Obama is ahead because Palin and McCain are showing what truly disgusting people they are. Check out any video of their rallies. People calling for Obama's death and shouting racial threats to a black cameraman, and the candidates encourage it. Disgusting.

Post Turtle: 105%
Anybody Else: Dosn't matter.

Honestly, honestly, honestly.. What's with the weightings?! Why are they so different from Gallup and Rasmussen, where it's 39.3% (D), 33.3% (R), and 27.4% Unaffiliated? These weightings seem extremely bogus to me. Please reveal your method of how you come up with these figures and why yours is more or as accurate as everyone else's? You're even missing 4% of the population, as 41 + 37 + 18 clearly equals 96! This is insane.

There's actually potential for Obama's lead to be even larger if the weightings weren't so divergent from the other "respected" pollsters. You guys should understand how flawed your method is when a candidate jumps from a 1 to 6 point lead in one day while all of the other polls are relatively more stable.

^^The "6 point lead" of course refers to yesterday's poll btw. Today's 7 point lead seems rational in light of the other polls released today so far.

ACORN has been extremely busy in the "battleground" states.

"Party ID Breakdown for the sample is 41%D, 37%R, 18%I."

Oversampling parties and undersampling Independents. The population is more like 37-39%D, 31-33%R, 28-32%I.

Wow....they attack the media, they attack voter registration, and they attack polls....and these are the patriotic "Real" Americans! We have to keep an eye on their tactics...remember how Hitler snuck up!

Hey great turn a down economy over to a thugish socalist. So is Lord Obama going to govern like Putin or Hugo with Harry and Nancy green lighting all of their leftist wishes. All of you who vote for change beware you may get more than you ever wished for. I guess I need to learn the Obama song or I will carried off to get some Bill Ayers education. America was fun while it lasted.

Paul, if you and the Republicans weren't such bleeding jerks for 8 years, the Dems wouldn't be anywhere near as well-positioned as they are right now. Don't you get it?

Just like how every mention of Ayers drops McCain in the polls.

Don't you get it?

To all you idiot libs commenting. Unless Obama has a lead of 7 to 8 points, he's likely to lose. He's over-polled in nearly every single primary.

When I see the Obama drones out saying the election is over, I know that means their internal polling doesn't look nearly as good as the public polls.

Obama's lackeys are try to depress republican turnout by giving the impression its over.

If Obama weren't such a pathetically weak candidate, his lead would be far larger.
