Duberstein Backs Obama, Criticizes Palin's Readiness
Ken Duberstein, Ronald Reagan's chief of staff, endorsed Barack Obama today, and, in the process, criticized Sarah Palin's readiness to take over the presidency, if need be, and John McCain's judgment in selecting her as his veep nom: "Even at McDonalds you're interviewed three times before you're given the job."
Here's Duberstein talking today to MSNBC's Norah O'Donnell:

he drank the Koolaid. Sarah Palin has more experience than Obama. Obama is the one who is not ready.
Funny thing, Duberstein has never worried about Obama's lack of experience and shady history, has he? There's a very special place in hell for "opportunists," so "Brains" Duberstein had better stock up on some asbestos underwear.
McCain and Palin are going to win on Tuesday and, after they do, expect Duberstein, Powell, and the rest of those who "flipped" to be on the outside looking in. McCain and Palin will likely forgive them, but they should expect any further invitations to state dinners either.

McCain and Palin are going to win on Tuesday--much to the shock and horror of Duberstein, Powell, et. al. I'm sure both McCain and Palin will forgive these turncoats. However, I'm also sure McCain and Palin will also ensure guys like Duberstein will be on the outside looking in for the next four years.
you keep telling yourself that mcnasty/and the bimbo will win, then look in the mirror and practice this line, "good morning, president Obama" for the next eight years you will be hearing that line........hahahhahahahah
timm, Just the usual type of mature, adult, classy, "can't we all get along?" reaction that I'd expect from a messiah supporter.
I'm sure we'll be hearing alot of such drivel from your kind IF he's elected and the usual racist, idiotic, conspiracy rants if he's not.
Most of Republicans have forgotten that they are first American then republicans. I have always been leaning toward GOP (but not this time) because they were the party of less government, low taxes, high moral standard and responsible spending. I am sure most people agree that the last eight years have been anything but these values that are at the core of the Republican Party. Where were all these conservatives to stop such derailment of these values? I believe senator MacCain given a chance would go back to the basic values, but, one can not help question Mr. MacCain judgment of picking Sara Palin. Was the Republican Party in such short of qualified female or male VP candidates that she was the only choice? I believe republicans like Powel and Ken Duberstein are true patriot who put country first and party second and shame on those republicans who look down on them for speaking out.
