McCain's Economic Meet-Up

NBC/NJ's Adam Aigner-Treworgy reports that John McCain met in Cleveland this morning with a panel of his economic advisors this morning and then gave a public statement reiterating his proposals and hitting Barack Obama and the Democrats for being "dangerous" for the nation's fiscal security.

A list of participants

-- John Taylor, former undersecretary of treasury and econ professor at Stanford

-- Masse Villareal, local business owner

-- Meg Whitman, former CEO Ebay

-- former MA Gov. Mitt Romney

-- Lou Anne Reger, local business owner

-- David Farr, runs Emerson Electric

-- Jack Kemp, 1996 GOP veep contender

-- MN Gov. Tim Pawlenty

-- Michael Steele, former MD lt. gov, head of GOPAC

And here's McCain today commenting about the ramifications of an-all Democrat controlled WH and Congress:

"Now this election comes down to how you want your hard earned money spent. Do you want to keep it and invest it in your future, or have it taken by the most liberal person to ever run for the presidency and the Democratic leaders, the most liberal, who have been running Congress for the past two years -- Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid? You know, my friends, this is a dangerous threesome. They believe, they believe, that $1 trillion of rescue financing is not enough and have already proposed another $300 billion spending spree they are calling a stimulus plan. I would rather give the great American middle class additional tax cuts and let you keep that money invest it in your future."

McCain is living on a different Planet.
Tax cuts are great when you make the money John McCain makes.
The middle class is gone, the top 5% have over 95% of the money in this country.
The great Middle Class has died because of the greed that the McBush and McCain and the rest of our so called leaders.

The cash Cow is dry, in the Dairy Business when a cow is dry there is no milk.
You can cut taxes down to 1% and what good is that when you do not have job and you are out of money.
When people can't pay their morgage what good will a tax cut do.
More of the same is what is dangerous in this country.
Joe the plumber is in Wally World.
With Obama if he makes over $250,000.00 he has to pay taxes.
under $250,000.00 no increase.
I have been a member of the Plumbers and steamfitters Union for over 42 years in the highest paid place in the Country and the only members that we have that make over $250,000.00 a year do so with other investments.

That's a real panel of heavyweights. Real economic household names. That's just sad. His primary challenger, an undersecretary, and some Republican hacks. Sad, really. Makes one wonder what kind of staff McCain would have were he to win the White House.

Michael Steele.

BWAAAAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHA!

If McCain/Palin win the White House, what good will it be?

If the nastiest, dirtiest, most erratic campaign mounted in the 21st Century
(and even though it's only a few years old, that is saying something),
can triumph over the most obvious leader to emerge in decades,
what hope does our nation have?

What direction would a McCain/Palin administration take us?
Do you think that they even know themselves?
Have you noticed that the color scheme of the McCain campaign
isn't even red, white and blue? It's blue, white and gold. Which USA is that?

All I hear from the McCain/Palin camp is "Barack this," and "Obama that."

What I hear from Obama is "We can do this," and "we can fix that."

I say, let's vote for hope, change and a continuation of Democracy.
4 more years of Reaganomics will turn us into
THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF THE UNITED STATES

OBAMA = PROGRESSION + OPPORTUNITY
MCCAIN = REGRESSION + STAGNATION
