in the Government of the United States or any agency or instrumentality
thereof; or
(4) While using a Government-owned or leased vehicle or while using
a privately-owned vehicle in the discharge of official duties.

Well, because it's effective in this day and age with all the fear that some non-traditional name especially one that sounds like an arab name is somehow bad.

Intelligent folks know that's not the case, but I have to ask, why are those folks so offended at that name..I suspect they are the same type of folks who are offended at Jewish names, Asian names, Latin names, Polish Names, Cuban Names, ..and at one time Irish names, Italian names or German names.

McCain and Palin feel that these folks hissing Hussein like a dirty word are real Americans and not YOU or I - who make up the rest of this great Nation - we are very present, very diverse and very tired of this kind of stuff. We also vote in very large numbers.
