Palin: I'll Tell The "Truth" About Obama
ESTERO, FL - Sarah Palin expanded her attack this afternoon on Barack Obama for associating with former 1960s radical William Ayers, suggesting the Democratic presidential candidate knew of Ayers' ties to Weather Underground and saying Obama does not have the judgment or truthfulness to be president.
"Today, they're saying for the first time that Barack Obama didn't know back then about Ayers's radical background," Palin told a rowdy crowd of 8,800 people at the Germain Arena. "But it was only a few months ago that Barack was saying that Ayers was just a 'guy in my neighborhood.'"
Palin said she found it unbelievable that Obama "didn't know a few months ago that he had launched his political career in the living room of a domestic terrorist."
"So what's next?" she said. "Claiming their ticket doesn't define higher taxes as patriotic? Or claiming he's just learned that tax increases on small business kill jobs? Claiming he's just learned that American soldiers don't actually target and kill civilians in Afghanistan? Or claiming he's surprised that the surge and the war on terrorism is a success? Oh wait, he's already done that."
Palin also suggested Obama was unfit to lead the country.
"Ladies and gentlemen, that pattern, this is about the truthfulness and judgment needed in our next president," she said. "John McCain has it, Barack Obama doesn't have it."
The McCain campaign had released an earlier version of the remarks, in which she said Obama had "launched his political career in the living room of a convicted domestic terrorist." But that was incorrect - Ayers was never convicted; federal riot and conspiracy charges against him were dropped because of illegal wiretaps and prosecutorial misconduct.
The campaign corrected the prepared remarks, and Palin did not refer to Ayers as "convicted" in her remarks.
Palin came to the rally from two fundraisers in Naples, including one at the waterfront home of Jack Donahue, founder of Federated Investors. There, she called for tax cuts for businesses and spoke of the current market slump.
"If you turn on the news tonight when you get home, you're gonna see that, ya, this is another woeful day in the market, and the other side just doesn't understand," she said, according to a pool report. "No -- especially in a time like this you don't propose to increase taxes and grow government, not at this time."
At the rally - attended by Sen. Mel Martinez and Gov. Charlie Crist - Palin said she would "start telling the truth about what a candidate stands for."
"And perhaps some of the things that I'm going to be doing and saying, I'll do my best you know to kind of fit in there," she said. "Well not really to fit in there. Well how about this? I do my best to keep giving material to Tina Fey to keep her in business."

Now we are finally seeing why she was chosen as John McCain's running, she is no doubt the ATTACK DOG. Let her do what she is good at, she can't answer questions intelligently, she has no clue about the role of the VP, but what she has going for her is JUVENILE behavior. She should be careful she is not damaging her own political career. She is no longer the most liked governor and Alaskans are now looking more closely. She is being used and she is not able to see it. Remember now the campaign manager did not see fit to tell her they were pulling out of Michigan, that my dear is a message.

We're now seeing why John McCain selected Sarah Palin to be his running mate. He was looking for a combination of Spiro Agnew and Dan Quayle to prop up his ideas-depraved campaign. He has nothing to offer the American people so he intends to tear down the opposition to get elected. Palin gave him the youthful appearance he needed (ala Dan Quayle in '88) and the virtually unknown Governor who could attack with the best of them like Spiro Agnew in 1968. Seems like every 20 years the Republican use the same technique to destroy the their opponents in the interest of getting elected. This time it will not work because "We The People" are smart enough to understand it.

John, personally I think this whole credit market crisis is just another C-O-N-Spiracy another attempt by “the man” and the “liberal media” to get our attention off the real issues. Who cares about their 401k’s, really, I enjoy seeing my IRA bleed red. Personally, I take the daily about I loss everyday, yesterday around lunch time $512 over last week’s losses and then I play that number in the lotto. I figure it’s a better bet with my investment dollars these days. So since they don’t pull the big game numbers until noon, John and Sarah, let’s talk about Ayers.
Because I want hear more about lipstick and Ayers. Hell let’s throw in the witches attacking Palin and Alaskan separatist too. Because personally I think we all need a break from the reality that our children’s futures are slipping through our fingers as their college funds evaporate like early morning fog on a July day.
