I have a problem with McCain mortgage plan, first if I have a home worth 720,000 and my neighbor across the street is worth the same, my neighbor can't make payments and is about to foreclose, I find a second job and continue to make payments on time. Now McCain will bail out my neighbor by re-negotiating his loan for current value, and we will say the current value is 520,000! Now when homes value rises in the near future my neighbor is way ahead of the game with much equity and I'm stuck with the same value, same monthly mortgage and still no equity! It's not fair I work hard and my neighbor gets a big break, what reward or relief homeowners who are paying on time, and doing the right thing get? nothing!
I think that both candidites are promising to much for American's to trust. Saying that taxes will increase or decrease won't help what is going on in the economy everyday. Stock markets are crashing everyday now. Wall Street is in chaos. Each candidite tells the other candidite that the tax plan they have will not work or it will not help the economy. I don't think just telling American's what they want to change will help. I want to see change and how it will bring back the economy. Obama just released he will only be talking on TV for 30 minutes. Is that enough to say what he needs to say? I think it was a smart move, but by McCain suspending his campaign to deal with Wall Street showed some real leadership toward our country and I just hope that either candidite that wins the election realizes its not about what was promised because many things can be promised but never persued. I understand people are struggling, but something has to change and both candidites need to realize that just promising tax plans or anything else will not help us in the time of need.

By now, most everyone knows the half-truths, outright lies, deceptions, and incomplete statements about Sen. Obama that are being disseminated by Palin and McCain.
Thus, we don't pay any attention to the rantings of desperate politicians, but it certainly is irritating to have to listen to their filth everyday. Oh well, it won't be long now.
