Perhaps some will say this is a marketing ploy. Maybe it is. But it is a powerful and simple ad, and it reminds people that a democracy must include all of us. I, for one, will gladly accept the cup of coffee from Starbucks, and I applaud them on combining their own mandate to run a profitable business with the societal mandate to do good wherever you can.
