CNN is reporting that Rahm Emanuel has agreed to sign on as Barack Obama's chief of staff.

That's really unfortunate. I was really looking for more of a tone of inclusivity on his first appointment. Emanuel is a partisan strongman, and while he'll probably be necessary to keep the House in line with the Administration's agenda, there's a reason he's known as Rahmbo. Lets hope future picks reflect that post-partisan atmosphere we were hoping for.
