Five Questions For Sarah Palin

Five questions for Sarah Palin, who held a rare (and brief) presser today and also addressed her colleagues during the Republican Governors Association meeting in Miami:
-- How much damage control is too much damage control?
-- Wouldn't it be wise to take (another) page out of the Hillary Clinton playbook and look to the former first lady's election to the Senate in 2000? HRC, conscious of the public's intense interest in her transition from the White House to Congress, quietly burrowed into her work, built relationships with members on both sides of the aisle, deferred to party elders (during joint press conferences and more broadly), attended prayer breakfasts and generally worked to build a substantive portfolio. Voters and reporters were, of course, aware of Clinton's interest in a national campaign, but she focused on her job and the needs of her constituents and was well-regarded for it.
-- Would a power play for Sen. Ted Stevens job serve you well? Would it reinforce perceptions that your national ambitions eclipse your preparation for the job? Or would it give you the opportunity for a crash course in civics and a chance to learn the ways of Washington from the lower 48?
-- Has John McCain adequately put to rest questions about your drag on the ticket? Should you emerge as a leading contender for the GOP's presidential nomination in 2012, would he back your bid?
-- What's it going to take to convince you to prep you for the obvious policy questions of the day? See Blitzer, Wolf and auto industry bailout. Here's the vid of Blitzer's interview, which aired last night.

Gov. Palin is one heckuva American woman, kudos to her! She puts to shame the limp-wristed, bleeding heart liberal Obama-bots. Barry, the left-wing lawyer with virtually no experience, except the experience of running for president. Boy, that impresses me! Obama-bots, unite! Let's start "spreading the wealth" to all "57 states"!
This woman is governor, former mayor, can hunt and fish, drive a boat, fly an airplane, has fiver children and still looks hot.
Go Sarah Go!
If Sarah Palin is smart (and she is), she'll stay in Alaska and get reelected governor in 2010. Given the bailout mania going on, and the way the economy is going, there's going to be a "Fire.Them.All" mood among the electorate in 2010. Palin will be well advised to keep her head down, keep collecting political chits, competently serve Alaskans, and avoid Capitol Hill at all costs in the meantime.
Hey, after two years of vacuous, horizon-gazing bloviating from "His Majesty," Palin will look and sound fresh again to an electorate that, this time, will be much more receptive to her message.
That's a joke right? Those are not actual questions actual reporters actually asked Palin. OMG!
The First Amendment of the United States Constitution:
Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom ... of the press.
We don't have a free press. We have a clown show.
As for Palin, her ambition is bigger than her talent. She is like someone pursuing a singing career who cannot sing. Let Palin burn her self out as she is quickly wearing out the welcome mat!
Come on, Jennifer Skalka, you missed the most important question: "Governor, after being widely blamed for dragging down the Republican ticket, if you ever contemplate what many experts consider the most far-fetched notion in the annals of American politics and run for national office again, are you prepared for what insiders agree would be the most difficult job in human history, that is, convincing the American people you are an actual sentient human being?"
Hillary moved to a State with a very Liberal Voter Base and large African American Voter population. Thats all she did. Please do not put her in the same category as a SELF MADE Sarah Palin. Sarah did not ride her husbands name and reputation into a Senate Seat...
Sarah will be fine in Alaska doing her job. She can run for governor again and keep serving the people of that state, How could staying away from the train wreck that is Washington not be more plesant than being in the middle of it. I am sure the kids will have a better time amd better environment to grow up in back home in Alaska. I have yet to meet anyone in her detractors who can tell me anything about what she did as Oil & GAs comissioner. ya know some folks are quite content staying at home and doing their job. She will be back if the people want her. the Democrats now have the brand monoploy on big dirty urban machine politics and empty rhetoric. How long will that sell for
I don't think this lady is going to last long in the spotlight, she's two steps behind Joe the Plumber who fell off the radar screen. I have the impression from the RGC that she gives them the creeps--she's talking about her own future in 2012 while the rest are hanging on by a thread for 2010.
She's sucking up their oxygen and she doesn't care. But they care, they want to breath too. Sooner than later the GOP will squash her themselves simply for their own political survival. Live by the sword and die by the sword. Sarah Palin is a selfish attention-whore. The GOP will untimately smother her under as much ugly attention that they can channel her way, it will be so deep that she'll never crawl out from beneath it.
