Obama On Cheney On McCain
From prepared remarks Barack Obama is set to give this afternoon in Pueblo, CO:
President Bush is sitting out the last few days before the election. But earlier today, Dick Cheney came out of his undisclosed location and hit the campaign trail. He said that he is, and I quote, “delighted to support John McCain.”
I’d like to congratulate Senator McCain on this endorsement because he really earned it. That endorsement didn’t come easy. Senator McCain had to vote 90 percent of the time with George Bush and Dick Cheney to get it. He served as Washington’s biggest cheerleader for going to war in Iraq, and supports economic policies that are no different from the last eight years. So Senator McCain worked hard to get Dick Cheney’s support.
But here’s my question for you, Colorado: do you think Dick Cheney is delighted to support John McCain because he thinks John McCain’s going to bring change? Do you think John McCain and Dick Cheney have been talking about how to shake things up, and get rid of the lobbyists and the old boys club in Washington?
Colorado, we know better. After all, it was just a few days ago that Senator McCain said that he and President Bush share a “common philosophy.” And we know that when it comes to foreign policy, John McCain and Dick Cheney share a common philosophy that thinks that empty bluster from Washington will fix all of our problems, and a war without end in Iraq is the way to defeat Osama bin Laden and the al Qaeda terrorists who are in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
So George Bush may be in an undisclosed location, but Dick Cheney’s out there on the campaign trail because he’d be delighted to pass the baton to John McCain. He knows that with John McCain you get a twofer: George Bush’s economic policy and Dick Cheney’s foreign policy – but that’s a risk we cannot afford to take.

And Obama has the backing of Aires, Khalidi, Flager, Rev. Wright, Acorn, Hezbollah terrorist orgn., Iran, Syria...have I missed anyone, I'm sure I did as I lose track of the guys shady radical associates and organizations..

Comment: i don't think people know what the parties are all about. The Democrats are for the working man. They will get you higher wages, better health care, retirement, and a safer work place. this is done by taxing the rich, who already have high wages, great health care, don't worry about retirement, and haven't worked in years. They beleive the rich should have to pay for all the under classes needs, for using them to get rich. Taxes are a legal way to do this. The problem with this way of thinking is this, who owns the company that you work for? Is he rich? Guess who's going to get taxed the most. Who is going to pay for his taxes? You are, either by not getting your raise or having to take a pay cut, or loosing your job.
Rich people creat jobs every time they build something, or start a new company. If they are going to be taxed to the hilt, they will just leave thier money where it is and try to save as much as they can. The Republicans give tax breaks to these rich, money hungry, capitalist pigs. Why? They tell the rich man, "We'll give you a tax break, if you build a new factory. You can enjoy the tax break for 5 years, plus all the profit." The rich man builds the factory and employes hundreds of people for years to come. It's great to have the higher pay, health care and safe work place that the Democrats want us to have, but if I don't have a job, it don't mean much. If Obama was a Republican, I'd vote for him, I need a job and am smart enough to know that the goverment can't empoly us all
Chester, please give it a break. The wingnuts firsts claimed "THAT ONE" was a Muslim, and then you rag on "THAT ONE" for his association with the Reverend Wright.
Evidently you do not know much history, or you would realize that Muslims have Ayatollah's, and Christians have Reverends. So what is "THAT ONE?"
And please give some honest links to terrorist group who supports "THAT ONE!" We all know Al Quida supports McCain, due to the tape they released.
Does anyone here think that Bill Ayers, Fidel Castro, Louis Farrakhan, Rashid Khalidi, Hugo Chavez, and Jeremiah Wright endorse Obama because they want us to have an undivided America? You think they are strong Obama supporters, because they are interested in the success and prosperity of the American business community, or the American worker ? Maybe you think these fellows want to encourage the development of American interests in the world...is that it? Do you really think their loud & clear endorsements of Barack Obama are because of their great concern that the President of the United States be someone with a strong bipartisan committment to the interests of the American people?
Talk about fear & division...
Please, just go google some of these Obama supporters and see what they do want for America, and then ask yourself, "why?"
Why are Bill Ayers, Fidel Castro, Louis Farrakhan, Rashid Khalidi, Hugo Chavez, and Jeremiah Wright giving their endorsements to
Barack Obama?
