On FOX News today, I joined Geraldine Ferraro and Monica Crowley to talk about Sarah Palin's media blitz and future.

It would be an act of extreme folly on the part of Sarah Palin to harbor any thoughts of contesting for her party’s nomination for the 2012 presidential election. She must bide her time until 2016 when she would be still only 51 years but considerably more seasoned. George Bush has tarnished in every way possible the Republican Party’s standing with the public to such an extent that Barack Obama will have to try really hard to make himself unelectable for the second term in 2012. Even if he keeps playing golf with his buddies every day of the week or spends all his waking hours, in emulation of his presidential role model, Bill Clinton, in more pleasurable amorous pursuits in the Oval Office, the economic situation in the country will ceratinly improve from its present abysmal level even without any efforts on his part. His re-election for second term, therefore, is 100 per cent certain and Sarah Palin can bet her bottom dollar on it. She will do well not to throw away another and, probably, her last chance but try, instead, for a U S Senate seat and spend the next six years in hobnobbing with the Washington DC beltway crowd and learn something more about the other 49 states in the union. She must concentrate on honing up her admittedly meagre knowledge of various issues, both domestic and international and erase from the electorate’s mind, to the extent possible, the impression of being a superficial, dim-witted, un-informed ignoramus that she had created during her short stint as the vice-presidential candidate.

Sarah has hardly become a scapegoat by the American people. She is being called out on her behavior and her rhetoric during a campaign she wasn't prepared to be a part of. She wanted to be VP more than she wanted anything else and she and the republicans used a strategy that didn't work. When she went after Barack Obama the way she did she lost the American people. She thought that attacking him the way she did and enciting near riots was fair? Shame on her! Now she wants to blame everyone but herself for their loss. Ridulous .... The only reason her children were an issue in the media was because she put them on a national stage in order to get votes. He behavior as a mother is to blame for that. A vote at any cost is a vote. Shame on you as a mother. Stop whining about your loss and go do your job. Govern Alaska, be a mother and a wife. Maybe down the rode when you mature and learn about government in the national media that VP office will be ready for you. Until then please stay out of the media because no needs your type of politics or hatefulness.

These right wing ideologues are very adept at morphing on a whim depending on how the wind blows to fit the politics of the moment. George bush told the public that he was a uniter not a divider and reached across the aisle and his administration was the most partisan we have seen in decades. He said that he was a compassionate conservative and he was neither, spending more than any other administration in history and compassionate only for his wealthy cohorts, killing 100's of thousands to make billions for defense and oil companies. Palin is to the extreme right, up until recently was a memeber of the Assemblies of God church, a church that believes that Christians should rule the government. She is anti women in birth control and abortion and is against science and for teaching creationism in public schools. Her husband has been a member a secessionist group advocating that Alaska secede from the United states. She and her husband are the most dangerous that we have seen in the republican party and we must not forget.
