Extended unemployment benefits. Put in place additional dollars for community health centers. Extended the children's health insurance program. Pushed for tax cuts for working families.

Makes sense for the President to say, though it falls woefully short of what's needed. Until the Black community takes responsibility for itself, it will never evolve enough to allow Black politicians - Mr. Booker, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Obama - with an occasion to help poor opportunity communities (i.e. Black, Latino, and Native) develop into something self-sufficient. This answer was perfect for the national stage.
