Planned Parenthood On Sotomayor
Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, weighs in on Pres. Obama's selection of Sonia Sotomayor to replace retiring SCOTUS Justice David Souter:

"Judge Sotomayor has vast experience in nearly every aspect of the law, having served as a big-city prosecutor and a corporate litigator, a federal trial judge on the U.S. District Court, and an appellate judge on the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. What our nation needs from our Supreme Court justices is a deep understanding of the law, an appreciation of the impact of the court's decisions on everyday Americans, and a commitment to the protection of our individual liberties. Benjamin Cardozo was the first hispanic to become a Supreme Court judge. Sotomayor may be the second.
If it was not for kind hearted Christians Sotomayor would not even know what Toilet tissue is or how to use it.
Both Cardozo's maternal grandparents, Sara Seixas and Isaac Mendes Seixas Nathan, and his paternal grandparents, Ellen Hart and Michael H. Cardozo, were Sephardi Jews; their families immigrated from England before the American Revolution, and were descended from Jews who left the Iberian Peninsula for Holland during the Inquisition.
I don't think he qualifies as the first hispanic - the inquisition was in the late 1400s - over 500 years ago. And his ancestors were here in the US before the revolution in the late 1700s. At what point in your limited ideology does a person become an American?
