A Gallup survey out today shows Pres. Obama's approvals have dropped to an all-time low of, gasp, 58%.
Hillary Clinton took a tumble, broke an elbow and is expected to fully recover.
The jobless rate in the Western U.S. topped 10 percent, per the Labor Dept.

Creigh Deeds, Democratic candidate for Governor, released the following statement on Friday regarding the passing of Bob McDonnell's mother-in-law:
"I am saddened by the news of the passing of Maureen McDonnell's mother, Geraldine Gardner.
"I offer my deepest condolences to Maureen, Bob and their children as they mourn the loss of a beloved mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. My heartfelt prayers go out to their family."
