AK Gov. Sarah Palin (R) offered some tweetage today about the idea of a second economic stimulus package. We're wondering if this is what political retirement looks like?

I love it when states that are disproportunate recipients of federal government largess piss and moan about federal fiscal responsibility. Alaska, Wyoming, and Mississippi would be wastelands without federal tax dollars. Alaska alone gets $13,000+ per capita and I don't recall any complaints before.
Palin sure doesn't act like someone seeking more privacy. And, like the commenter before me says, Alaska lives on our tax money. Or maybe, as Palin and Joe the Plumber say we should stop our redistributionist ways and restrict federal spending to the tax revenues gained in those areas.
