While I see people's point with not wanting the Olympics in Chicago, citing financial problems, security issues, the CURRENT economy, and other issues, it seems they fail to realize that the games are more than 5 years away. Mr. Obama might not even be in office then (i hope he is, so i can vote for him again in the reelection. lol), but a lot can change in those 5+ years. If we remember, Enron drove the stock prices up in just 2 years and crumbled in less than 8 months. 5+ years is plenty of time for Chicago and the rest of our great nation to pull its self back together and get back to how we were, with a few amenities such as healthcare.
