In The Year 2012

As the results from tonight's races roll in, The Hotline has tallied a stumping scorecard for both Pres. Obama and his potential rivals in '12. Whose chosen candidates won? And whose lost? Who has the best track record thus far? The following is a list of the '09 candidates that Obama and potential WH '12ers have physically stumped for in the candidate's CD/state:

OBAMA: 0 for 2

Corzine: Loss

Deeds: Loss

*Note: Obama offered a tepid endorsement for Thompson (NYC mayor), who lost tonight. Obama also held a fundraiser for Owens (NY-23), but it was in NYC, not NY-23.

RGA CHAIR/MS GOV. HALEY BARBOUR (R): 1 for 1

McDonnell: Win

EX-SPEAKER NEWT GINGRICH (R): 1 for 1

McDonnell: Win

*Note: Gingrich endorsed Scozzafava (NY-23) before she dropped out, but did not travel to the district to stump for her.

EX-NYC MAYOR RUDY GIULIANI (R): 3 for 3

McDonnell: Win

Christie: Win

Bloomberg: Win

*Note: Giuliani endorsed Hoffman (NY-23) and also recorded robocalls for him, but didn't physically stump in the CD.

EX-AR GOV. MIKE HUCKABEE (R): 1 for 1

McDonnell: Win

LA GOV. BOBBY JINDAL (R): 2 for 2

McDonnell: Win

Christie: Win

EX-AK GOV. SARAH PALIN (R): 0 for 0

*Note: Although Palin didn't physically for any candidates this cycle, she endorsed Hoffman. She also recorded robocalls in VA, but not directly in support of McDonnell.

EX-NY GOV. GEORGE PATAKI (R): 0 for 1

Hoffman: Loss

*Note: Pataki also recorded Club for Growth robocalls for Hoffman in NY-23.

MN GOV. TIM PAWLENTY (R): 2 for 2

McDonnell: Win

Christie: Win

*Note: Pawlenty endorsed Hoffman, but didn't physically stump for him.

REP. MIKE PENCE (R): 0 for 0

EX-MA GOV. MITT ROMNEY (R): 2 for 2

McDonnell: Win

Christie: Win
